Drayton a small village just outside of the historic town of Banbury where you have the famous Banbury Cross and cake. Stratford upon Avon is 20 miles away and Warwick Castle and Blenhein Palace and the Cotswolds are easily accessible. Oxford , and the Bicester designer outlet village can be reached by train and the numerous sporting venues Cheltenham Festival and Silverstone Formula 1.
Banbury which is only 2 miles away, has a train station, cinema, bowling alley and sports centre and restaurants. Drayton a small village with a local pub called The Roebuck which serves good food. A small church which dates back to 17th century. There are plenty of places to walk and Wroxton Abbey grounds backs on to Tree tops. Plenty of very good pubs and restaurants around this area, a golf course/putting range at the end of the village. On the Stratford road 5 miles away just off the A422 is Upton House Mansion National Trust property. Burford and Bourton on the water are a lovely day out.
