About the home

Thai Villa with beautiful mountain views. Private swimming pool and terrace and only 10 minute walk to a quiet, safe, sandy beach. Excellent restaurant within 10 minute walk.

The villa is provided with patio furniture, ideal for al fresco dining. With 2 air-conditioned bedrooms, it is ideal for 2 couples or families. The third bedroom is small and has a single bed and wall mounted fan.

Santi Thani Valley is situated in a secured complex, but set apart from other houses. it is a quieter part of the island, but night-life can be reached easily. It is in Koh Samui, which is known as a 'Paradise Island', and full of interesting places to visit and with a variety of activities.

There is a world class golf course less than 10 km away, and ample opportunity to learn or indulge in water sports such as Scuba Diving and Jet skiing.

The climate in Koh Samui is warm/hot all the year round, so the swimming pool is always at a pleasant temperature. It is of the infinity style overlooking a nearby mountain clothed in coconut palms.

Well behaved dogs are welcome, but no cats.

Smoking on the terrace is permitted, but not inside the villa.

A refundable breakage deposit is required and will be refunded within 2 weeks of departure upon satisfactory inspection.

25% of rental fee is due to secure booking.

Property better suitable for children above 12 years old.

The terrace and villa are access by a flight of stairs, so not suitable for the infirm.

The Koh Samui region

Koh Samui is a tropical, coconut clad island, located approximately 500 miles south of Bangkok. Roughly the same size as the Isle of Wight, it can be easily be circumnavigated by car within an hour, with spectacular views of the turquoise sea seemingly around every corner. It is an island of mountains and dramatic scenery, containing beautiful temples and other places of interest.

It's climate is warm/hot all year round, interspersed with rain showers. But even the rain is warm!

The Thai people are warm and friendly, rightly earning the title of 'Land of Smiles'! They especially adore children, so the island is the perfect venue for family holidays.

The Ban Tai area

Bang Por is on the north west corner of the island. This whole of this area features gently shelving sandy beaches. Bang Por beach is quiet, but beach side restaurants/resorts offer refreshments and sun loungers if required.

The nearest main town and beach is Maenam, which is approximately 8 km away. There is a world class golf course, and the town also has lively night life.

The island has many other attractions including temples, safari parks, waterfalls, scuba diving and nature trails.

“Fantastic find” This was an excellent stay from the day we arrived till we left. Adele and Wally picked us up and made us feel right at home. The house was even better than the photos. I could not fault it. We loved the location quiet but walking distant to nice restaurant, local store for emergency supplies, and the best massages/facials at Nats Massage. This is all at the end of the road. If you wanted to be where the action is. 10 minutes on a scooter and you are a fishermans wharf - great spot for shopping and eating. The Friday market there is a must. We loved lazing by the pool. While only small it was perfect to keep you cool and you didnt need to share with anyone. I give this holiday and 10 out of 10 and if we go back to Thailand I know where I am heading - back to Koh Samui and Adele and Wallys wonderful home. Thank you for supplying our family with a great holiday and an affordable price.

“Excellent Choice................” This was our second visit to this Villa and once again the experience exceeded our expectations. As frequent visitors to Thailand we have stayed in all levels of accommodation ranging from Villas costing £300 to £1500 a week. I can honestly say this property offers the best value for money we have experienced in Thailand. The Villa is located in a secure development in a great location ten to fifteen minutes from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas. A car or motorbike would be be recommended but you can also flag down one of the numerous van taxis at the bottom of the road costing the equivalent of 50p a person during the day to get to most destinations. The Villa is well appointed and has the luxury of a private pool which is absolutely essential in the heat! All in all, this is a perfect choice for those looking to get away from the sterile and overpriced alternative of resort hotels. Adele and Wally are perfect, unobtrusive hosts, and also offer to pick you up and drop you back from Samui airport. If your looking for an inexpensive base to explore the stunning island of Samui...................this is it.

The only thing that is sad...it passed so quickly. We recommend this place.
