Puffin Cottage is is an impressive, superbly converted stone barn which provides ample living space and self catering accommodation in a quiet location close to the sea shore in Budle Bay, Bamburgh. Puffin Cottage has all the facilities you will need including a cosy, wood burning stove, a useful utility/laundry room, central heating for all year round holidays, outdoor seating and BBQ and off road, allocated parking. The cottage sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms and is ideal for larger groups or families.
Bamburgh village is a short drive or walk away (15 minutes walk on the beach) with its superb, imposing castle, village green and quirky shops, tea rooms and excellent eateries. The Grace Darling museum is a must visit while you are here! The popular seaside resort of Seahouses is just a short, scenic drive away (5 minutes ) where you can take a boat trip to The Farne Island and enjoy all the amenities of the bustling village with its wide range of bars, restaurants, shops and tourist attractions and another 2 miles from there you can discover the historic village of Beadnell with its beautiful golden, sandy bay and many water sport activities.

So when it comes to self-catering cottages, Northumberland is the place to go. Steeped in natural history, Northumberland is an area renowned for its outstanding natural beauty and leaves visitors spoilt for choice when it comes to places to stay.
Budle Bay is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) for its bird life, which draws bird watchers to the bay from far and wide.
The unspoilt, sandy beaches provide safe bathing under the shadow of the castle and a playground for the increasing number of wind and kite surfers.
The nearby village of Bamburgh with its imposing castle, has a good selection of pubs, restaurants and local shops. It also has a large village green for games and picnics and tennis courts. Bamburgh is also home to the Grace Darling museum.
Three miles to the south of Bamburgh is the fishing village of Seahouses, where you can take a trip to the Farne Islands or hire a boat for sea fishing.
The village prides itself on its locally caught fish and lobster which are available to buy to cook and through fish and chip shops.

"Superb Cottage in great location"
Excellent Christmas break! We spent most of the time walking the fabulous beaches - the dog was in heaven! - also visited various castles and Holy Island. Berwick is a beautiful town. Facilities at… More
