The house is close by the center – only 5 minutes from the train station; one of the main lines through the city. Public buses (of the Verkehrsbetriebe, lines 902, 911, night line 935), a stop for which is just 50 m from the house, operate on an interval of 10 minutes, going to the inner city in about 8 minutes.

It's just as easy to get onto the autobahn, nearest of which is the A73 “Bamberg Ost,” about 3 km away.

Only 100 m around the house, you can find large supermarkets, three bakeries, a butcher's, as well as a number of restaurants (not least, the Café Abseits). You can easily reach them (on foot) while leaving your car parked.
