Home description

This lovely end-terrace house is set in a quiet area of Baltimore. The property offers spacious, well-equipped accommodation for 13 people over five bedrooms. Living space includes a large kitchen with dining area, a second floor children's area and a sitting room with cosy wood-burning stove. There is also a large, enclosed garden with plenty of space for family ball games. With so much space, the house is an excellent holiday home for either a large family or a group of friends, and is positioned close to the local amenities and attractions.

The County Cork region

Baltimore area

Located in the west of County Cork, the village of Baltimore is just six miles from the market town of Skibbereen. This is a popular venue for water sports enthusiasts with facilities for sailing and windsurfing as well as scuba diving – giving visitors the rare opportunity to see the variety of shipwrecks from the Algerian Pirate attack on Baltimore. The sea near the village is also home to dolphins and whales. For those interested in the region's history, O'Driscoll Castle is close by and walkers can enjoy a trip up to ’the Baltimore Beacon’ - also known as Lot's Wife – which is one of the most notable landmarks of the area.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
