Casa Torrres is a beautiful new 2 bedroom holiday villa located amongst orange and lemon groves, and surrounded by wonderful mountain ranges. A truelly tranquil location.
The region boasts many unspoilt beaches. Los Alcazares 15 min drive. Santiago de la Ribera & San Pedro 15 min drive. And La Manga Strip approx. 30 min drive.
Golf: Costa Calida boasts the best golf courses in Spain. La Torre golf resort 5 min drive. Mosa Trajectum (PGA) course is 15 min drive via the auto towards Murcia. La Manga club is 20 min drive. The are two Polaris World golf resorts within 15 min drive.
Skiing: Grenada. Sierra Nevada.
Activities: Water sports, scuba diving, sailing, golf, horse riding, cycling and walking.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
Costa Colida boasts over 300 days of sunshine per year. The summer months are Hot. The winter months still gain temperatures of 60 degrees+. These weather conditions are why the region of Murcia is a favourite with golf enthusiasts.
With excellent road network throughout the region visiting places of interest is easy. From many quaint fishing ports to the beautiful traditional Spanish cities if Murcia and Cartagena. The Mar Menor beaches are protected by the La Manga Strip lagoon, ensuring the waters are the safest in the Mediteranian and are exceptionally warm.
Day trips to Murcia, Cartegena, Almeria, La Manga, Torrevieja, Allicante, and Benidorm are all easily accessible within 1 hour drive or less. Costa Calida caters for everybodies requirements, from culture, outdoor persuits, eating out, cafes/bars, nightlife entertainment.... and lots and lots of sunshine!!
Balsicas area
Sierra Golf has a 9 hole golf course for just 12 Euros; hire of golf carts 12 Euros. lakeside bar overlooking the course.
The complex has a local supermarket, bar/cafe, and a communal swimming pool.
Balsicas is a traditional Spanish town with all amenities. Places to eat mainly Tapas.
Rondin 3km away has Indian & Chinese Restuarants and a Sports Bar with very friendly staff.
Los Alcazares is 15 min drive where you will find a beautiful beach and great relaxing nightlife, with plently of bars and restuarants. Ideal for a relaxing evening out.
For shopping Dos Mares is a shopping complex between the towns of San Javier and San Pedro which are 15 min by car.
Santiago de la Ribera (10 min drive), is a gorgous Spanish beach resort that is unspoilt and never crowded. Highly recommended if you like peace and beauty.

Property & complex just as advertised. Great location to all Mar Menor beach resorts. The lakeside restuarant food is absolutely fantastic. The local residents are exceptionally friendly. Big thanks to 'Quiznite Ray' for making our stay so nice. Oh and to Alan & Marion 'Lakeside Restuarant Management Team'. Thanks for both the great food and local knowledge!
