About the home

Casita Isabella is an Ideal family holiday setting, with an identical adjoining villa for rent, ideal for 2 families. Sierra Golf complex is situated amongst orange and lemon groves, yet only 15 minutes drive from a selection of beautiful beaches on the Mar Menor.

Have a truly relaxing holiday or for those more energetic there is golf and many water sports to choose from. Set in an area close to Spanish towns, villages and cities Murcia & Cartagena for those sightseers.

Set inside acres of orange and lemon groves, close by is the typical Spanish village of Balsicas, with it’s town square, cafes, shops and tapas bars just 3 to 4 km away.

This villa offers bright spacious lounge dining area, leading to a fully fitted kitchen. Through the kitchen is a utility room and small yard.

Under the archway are 1 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin, and 1 bathroom with bath, shower, sink and toilet.

1 standard fan in each bedroom.

Under the Arches is a terrace with table and chairs for alfresco dining, overlooking the front garden. There is a portable BBQ.

The front private garden is stoned with ample area for sunbathing or BBQ’s. The villa is situated in a quiet tree lined avenue of pretty villas. Although quiet there is a friendly atmosphere amongst locals with English speaking assistance.

With 17km of sandy beaches along the Mar Menor, there is everything for families or adults alike. From kiddies play areas to scuba diving, sailing and various watersports. With many restaurants, bars, ice cream parlours dotted along the various beaches.

For those who like a touch of the East, just 3 km from Sierra Golf there is a superb Indian Restaurant and also a Chinese Wok (where you can eat all you can for just about 9 Euro).

• Strictly no smoking except on the balcony.
• A refundable breakages deposit of £100 is required with the final balance 4 weeks before your stay, This will be refunded to you within 2 weeks of your departure after the final inspection.
• 30% of the rental fee is due on booking to confirm your reservation, with the balance due 4 weeks prior to your arrival (to include £100 breakages deposit)
• Linen and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels.
• This property is ideal for families with young children.
• Equally Ideal for an Adults only group such as golfers, watersports enthusiasts etc.

The Costa Calida region

The region boasts many unspoilt beaches to choose from, Los Alcazers 10/15 mins drive, Santiago de la Ribera 10 mins drive from Sierra Golf (to name but a few). The weather is Hot in the summer months and mild during the winter months – an ideal choice to discover such an unspoilt part of Spain.

With a good road network throughout the region visiting many places of interest is easy from quaint fishing ports to beautiful cities Murcia and Cartagena. This region boosts some of the best golf courses in Spain. The Mar Menor has the warmest and safest waters in the Med protected by the La Manga Strip this lagoon is great for kids and offers many watersports to choose from.

San Javier with it’s lovely squares, bars, restaurants and many shops is the home of a jazz festival in late June. Excellent shopping facilities.

Los Alcazares and Los Narejos. These well kept beaches have many restaurants and bars along the sea front and lovely promenade with children's play areas. For seafood lovers you will be in heaven with so many restaurants to choose from.

The Balsicas / Sierra Golf area

Sierra Golf has a 9 hole Golf Course open for just 12 euros, hire of Golf carts 12 euros. There is a Lakeside Bar restaurant overlooking the course, run by Alan & Marion. There is also on the site a shop, bar, communal swimming pool, and lots of local walks.

Sierra Golf complex is close to Balsicas. This sleepy village offers supermarkets, garage, bars and wander through the side streets and find typically Spanish restaurants.

From the Railway station you can travel by train to Murcia for less than 5 Euro. Relax and enjoy this picturesque journey into the beautiful city of Murcia, full of history, stunning architecture, shops and places to eat, or simply relax in one of the many squares and enjoy a coffee with the locals.

Recommended Indian Restaurant and Chinese Wok, both approx 2/3 km from the villa.

Leisure Activities:
Walking, tennis, horse riding, paragliding and a variety of water sports in the nearby beaches approx 10/15 minutes drive away.

Sierra Golf Complex is new with tree lined roads, pretty villas and a very friendly atmosphere. There is local English speaking assistance. The Golf course is within walking distance. And a communal swimming pool is due to open in early 2009. A safe environment for children.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Property extremely clean and comfortable, we had a great rest yet found
lots of interesting places to visit.
Great for the kids, close to loads of beaches and amenities and really loved the little nearby village of Balsicas the kids spend many hours in the pool too. will be back .. Matt & Emma, Pheobe and Greg.
We live in Spain and found this a complete restful change of scenery, just up our street and our family vistied us for a couple of nights. We will use it again thanks. Phil Allnut
