Ballyvaughan

Get away from it all in this cosy cottage which has been renovated and is situated in the heart of the Burren, 3 miles from Carron village and 5 miles from the village of Ballyvaughan. Renovated to a high standard with tasteful furnishings and all mod cons. Within the Burren National Park it is adjacent to Caherconnell Fort and a few minutes walk from Paulnabrone Dolmen. Nearby attractions include the Aliwee Caves and the Cliffs of Moher. Fanore is noted for sea angling and surfing with traditional music nights in Doolin. Galway city is within an hour and Ennis town is half hours drive. You are sure to be impressed with this area!

This is an ideal base to explore the delights of the Irish west Coast. Ballyvaughan which is only 5 miles away is noted for its craft workshops, tea rooms, art centre pubs with traditional music and restaurants offering excellent seafood. This area is noted for its many sandy beaches and coves which are just waiting to be explored. There is excellent walking wit the Burren on your doorstep which offers fascinating limestone plateau rich in prehistoric and medieval monuments as well as an astounding variety of wild flowers.
