The cottage is situated in County Kerry in the South West of Ireland with a mild climate, influenced by the Gulf Stream. This region has spectacular safe beaches and fabulous scenery. The Kerry Head peninsula is very picturesque and close to Dingle, the Ring of Kerry and Killarney with plenty of interest for tourists and holidaymakers alike.
County Kerry is a magical and unspoilt part of Ireland, with fantastic natural beauty and a fascinating history. Facing the Atlantic Ocean, Kerry features many sandy beaches, rocky inlets and great peninsulas, with plenty of opportunities for sailing, fishing and boating tours. Inland, Kerry continues to delight, with breathtaking mountains, lovely lakes and valleys offering wonderful walking and cycling.
the International Rose of Tralee Festival takes place mid August and is a spectacular event, bringing Roses from around the world
The cottage is south facing, looking directly across to Brandon Head and the Maharees. It is close to Blue Flag beaches at Ballyheigue and Banna Strand which also has a watersport centre and recreational facilities.
There are a number of excellent golf courses within close proximity; Ballyheigue, Ardfert, Tralee and Ballybunion are all within a 10km radius.
There are shops and restaurants in Ballyheigue 5km away and Tralee has extensive shopping facilities, theatre, cinema complex, aquadome and aquasports, miniature railway, pitch and putt and numerous pubs and restaurants.

"Spectacular Views, Large Safe Garden."
