Ballyglass

This beautiful restored barn conversion is set 1.5 miles from the picturesque village of Mayoabbey makes a great touring base. The holiday home is part of a working self sufficient holding, where homemade cakes, preserves and fresh eggs are sold 'at the gate'. It has been restored to a very high standard yet maintains a cottage feel. On arrival visitors are greeted by a welcome pack, consisting of home-made bread, home-made butter, free range eggs, milk, tea, coffee and sugar, all the essentials which are often forgotten. This property has a separate garden area which is quite and relaxing making it a perfect place to unwind.

The Hay Loft is on the first floor of a restored granary set in open countryside with distant views of Crongh Patrick and the Partry Mountains. Sitting centrally in Co. Mayo you are not far from all that Mayo has to offer. From stunning mountains to sylvan beaches, all of which are quiet even in summer, making this an ideal place to relax and unwind. Traditional Irish music, golf, fishing (both river and lake), horse riding and much more, are all within 15 minutes drive.
