Enjoy a walk by the river and across the 12 arch bridge, and take a stroll through the village and maybe participate in some 'light refreshments'. And don't forget to experience Ballydehob by night either – live music and the craic are all part of the make up!

The County Cork region

The village and its environs has a vibrant and diverse population, and the variety of bars, good eating places, fun festivals and community events ensure a warm welcome.

Ballydehob

Situated just 6 miles from the pretty village of Ballydehob and 8 miles from the bustling market town of Skibbereen this one time old farmhouse is a couples haven and has been lovingly restored and converted into two apartments. Its interiors are deceptively spacious and there is a lovely wooden porch with seating off the kitchen/diner, ideal for enjoying the views and well maintained gardens surrounding the property. Ballydehob offers a host of things to do including golf, fishing, watersports, many fine restaurants and even a Jazz festival, while Skibbereen is well worth a visit with a variety of pubs, restaurants, shopping and craft outlets.

Ballydehob is a charming village on the south west coast of Ireland. Lying about 20 miles east of Mizen Head, Europe's most westerly point, it is embraced by colourful hills and rich natural beauty and wildlife; the perfect place from which to explore West Cork.
