"Plush, modern apartment overlooking Ballycotton Bay in small, friendly, postcard beautiful fishing village - a perfect getaway s"
We were so pleased that we chose to stay at Deirdre's Paradise Apartment #3 in Ballycotton on our recent trip to Ireland! This very comfortable apartment had every amenity we wished for - and it looks out directly over the bay! The apartment is within walking distance to pubs, cafes, and other venues and since you will most likely reach Ballycotton by car, you will appreciate the private offstreet parking space just outside your apartment door. Deirdre was very helpful and a pleasure to communicate with which is always most appreciated. The Ballycotton harbor is so colorful and camera ready as is the lighthouse and the cliff walk is spectacularly beautiful!!!! We were enchanted with the natural beauty of the ocean, cliffs, and wild flowers! Though the apartment does not have wi-fi, the pub directly next door does and the owners were friendly, knowledgable and accommodating!! The Waves Cafe, less than half a block away, had great food, good prices, a friendly atmosphere plus wi-fi!! The Ballycotton location is remote, quiet and peaceful, yet still convenient for taking day trips to Cork, Lismore, Blarney, and beyond! Whether you are looking for a place with a view or just want to get away from it all, Ballycotton is a sweet destination and this Paradise Apartment is a wonderful place to stay!! I highly recommend it and would love to stay there again!
