The County Kerry region
County Kerry, traditionally known as the 'kingdom', is situated in the extreme south-west of Ireland. You can see regions of outstanding scenic beauty, such as the Ring of Kerry. This is an unspoilt region of Ireland that has attracted visitors for hundreds of years. Its spectacular beauty is beyond question and it is a natural centre for outdoor pursuits including golf, watersports, cycling, walking, riding and the very best fishing for salmon & trout.
The Ring of Kerry has some of the finest beaches in Europe that provide all the facilities for a traditional seaside holiday. Above all the Ring of Kerry provides an amazing insight into the ancient heritage of Ireland - see the Iron Age Forts & Ogham Stones, Old Monasteries and a landscape carved out of rock by the last Ice Age 10,000 years ago. Visitors to Ireland should not miss a trip to the beautiful Ring of Kerry.
Kerry capital Tralee is only 25mins drive Here you will find there is no shortage of things to do: a plummet down a giant water slide, a guided tour through a medieval castle, a round of golf on a great course, a boat trip to see 20,000 gannets in colony, a walk or bike ride in Europe's quietest valleys and hills or a visit to a pub to enjoy a meal, a conversation with the friendly locals or the delight of a spontaneous traditional Irish music session.
Killarney which is just over an hours drive is a vibrant town with incredibly beautiful surrounding countryside which makes Killarney a very special place indeed. It is a superb place to visit with tour options, jaunting car trips, boat trips and lots more.
Ballybunion area
Situated in north county Kerry it is an ideal base to tour the south west region, Ballybunion is home to the Ballybunion golf course a world renown golf links that is ranked in the top ten golf courses in the world.
The golf course of Ballybunion was the subject of a visit by president Bill Clinton of the United States of America (August 1999). For all keen golfers this is one golf course recommended for a round of golf.

Guestbook for 6 Glor na Donn
Sept '09 I have been attending the Races for over 12 years and I can honestly say that your house was the best accommodation we ever had. I couldn't find one fault with it. Also the location was just right (within walking distance but far enough away from the noise of the town) Rita Kirby Aug '09 This is a beautiful, bright, extremely comfortable house with a kitchen to die for! It's in a quiet location with no properties overlooking it; only a few minutes walk from the main street of Ballybunion, the beach and leisure centre; and for golfers wanting to play the famous links course it's just a few minutes by car. It's extremely well furnished with very comfortable beds and everything was spotlessly clean when we arrived. We had a lovely stay and can't wait until we have an opportunity to visit again. MarianRose - London July '09 it was a pleasure to stay in your lovely home. it didn't feel like we were in a "holiday home" it is such a comfortable house to be in and everything that we could possibly need was there. i came prepared with things from home as previous rented properties didn't provided tea towels or oven gloves but you had everything there. we look forward to seeing you again in the future Teresa Turnbull-England June '09 "A lovely house in a great location for all the amenities in Ballybunion. The house was well appointed with every appliance to make our stay very enjoyable. We will certainly stay again if we return to the region". John Chillas-Scotland
