The Kwa Zulu Natal region

Ballito area

It is the frequent sighting of bottlenose dolphins in the ocean that has resulted in the area being called "The Dolphin Coast".

The Dolphin Coast offers a number of world class tourist activities including game reserves less than 2 hours drive from Durban, nature reserves, world class golf courses, casino's, whale and dolphin watching and numerous water sports including diving with sharks.

Only 30 minutes from Durban, the area offers a relaxing "small coastal village" holiday atmosphere, with the necessary infrastructure for any business, shopping and entertainment needs.


How to get there

From the N2 take the Ballito/Compensation off ramp and turn towards the ocean (left from the N2 South, Right from the N2 North).
You are now on Ballito Drive. Go through a traffic circle past the Lifestyle Shopping Centre on your right.
Go through 1 more traffic circle and turn left at the 2nd circle with the BP service station on your right.
You are now in Link road, continue through next traffic circle, the old Pick ‘n Pay Centre will be on your left.
The road now becomes Simbithi Drive. Continue along this road till you get to a T-junction. Turn left into Ocean Drive and Santorini is on your right.
