Casablanca Beach Penthouse is an upmarket, self catering, six sleeper apartment with direct beach access. The beach has qualified lifeguards on duty and shark nets for your protection. Walking distance to shops, entertainment and numerous restaurants and fine dining options.
The 25.km boardwalk have dolphin and whale watching platforms. Nearby attractions include gateway theatre of shopping, 16 cinemas, Imax and Wave House surfing, flea market, championship golf courses, Sibaya Casino, Ushaka Marine World, sport, fishing, surfing, big game fishing, wind surfing, ocean kayaking, diving, horseback riding, bird watching, Game tours, Wellness Centres etc...
The sea temperatures range from 20 - 25 degrees throughout the year and are ideal for year round swimming. The sub tropical climate (summer months are October - April) provides average temperatures of 24-30 degrees. Winter months are not much cooler with temperatures averaging 20-25 degrees.

The Kwa Zulu Natal region
The North Coast or “Dolphin Coast” is a glorious stretch of coastline fringed with golden beaches and caressed by the warm water of the Indian Ocean. Rolling green hills of sugar cane with patches of coastal forest makes the Zulu Kingdom difficult to beat.
The area has a unique mix of culture with strong Eastern, African, European and French Mauritian influences. The close proximity to other attractions is a major advantage.
Ballito has been recognized as a prime domestic and international holiday destination and with glittering natural assets and magnificent beaches and warm-all-year-around weather means you can swim, sunbathe, surf and fish all year around.
Two hours north allows you to visit the Big Five game reserves of Zululand that include the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park, Phinda and the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, a World Heritage Site. Half hour south takes you to the port city of Durban. From there you can travel inland to the Midlands, famous for its arts and craft and then the Ukhanlamba Drakensberg – another World Heritage Site.
Ballito / Main Beach area
The main bathing beach of Ballito, Willards Beach have qualified lifeguards on duty and shark nets for your protections. Clarke Bay, a second beach also have lifeguards and shark nets. Further south is the Ballito tidal pools which is well maintained and home to a wide range of sea life.
There is a huge variety of predictable waves, ranging from tame breaks to fast, hollow “beaches” and a few heavy reef breaks. Best known spot is Ballito with fast and furious wave with deep tube that breaks on a shallow sandbank just beyond the rocks. The waves works best in light winds and can handle swells of approximately six feet. Enjoy your surfing!
Visitors can arrange to dive with certified divers. Many diving spots along the coast including Sheffields Reefs, Tiffany’s Reef, Big Bream Reef and Lemonfish Reef. Best months with the most consistent chance of visibility are April to July. For spearfishing and scuba diving www.spearfishing.co.za
Along the promenade dolphins and whale watching platforms have been built. Pods of dolphins is a daily occurrence and humpback and southern whales blowing clear of the water can be seen during June and July and again in Sept and Oct. Book a charter when weather permits and don’t forget your camera!
From the sand or rocks or charter a boat for deep sea fishing. Angling licences and permits are required and obtainable from post offices and Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife offices. There is a fish size limit on certain species. Selling fish without a permit is illegal.
How to get there
Currently the Durban International airport is 40 min drive away, but the new La Mercy International airport will be completed in time for the 2010 Soccer World Cup and will be 10 min drive away.

Further details indoors: The apartment is in immaculate condition due to total refurbishment with granite kitchen and superb beach style furnishings.
The main bedroom is spacious (double bed) and opens onto large patio overlooking the sea. Patio have two loungers to relax. Big shower, toilet and basin completes this level.
The middle floor has two bedrooms, one with double bed and one with two single beds both leading onto patio with sea views and patio furniture. Bathroom completes this floor.
Further details outdoors: The swimming pool deck and braai/barbecue is absolutely on the beach.

Peak season minimum stay 7 nights.
50% deposit secures booking, balance when checking in, in cash. Or transfer. Please provide proof of payment and sufficient time for payment to be cleared. We do prefer balance of payment in cash when checking in.
Non refundable in and out clean of 30 pounds will be charged.
Refundable breakage deposit of 150 pounds will be charged. Breakage deposit refunded within 14 days from departure.
Check out time is 8am. The staff check the inventory between 1 and 2pm. You are welcome to come back at 2pm on the same day of your check out for your breakage deposit to be refunded if you so desire.

We do not accommodate students or learners that have just finish their schooling unless accompanied by parents.
You are responsible for your own travel and health insurance. No responsibility, whatsoever, will be excepted for loss, illness or injury to persons or property.
Cancellations: Cancellation must be in writing 8(eight) weeks before booking commence in which case you will be refunded minus 10% of your deposit.
If cancellation is less than 8 weeks from arrival you will lose your deposit.
We always try to accommodate our guests if the requests are reasonable.
