Home description
This self-catering holiday home is in a fantastic location, overlooking Ballinskelligs bay, close to Ballinskelligs blue flag beach with spectacular views of mountains and sea. It is a traditional style house on a large site and has patio area, barbecue and garden furniture.
The house itself has four bedrooms, two en-suite bathrooms and one full bathroom complete with jacuzzi bath, fully equipped kitchen, dining/living area. Upstairs there is a very large den, ideal for a play room for the children or somewhere to get away from it all. There is also a large private garden with sea and mountain views. Garden bench, swings, bicycles supplied free of charge. The beach, local shop and pub/restaurant are all just a ten minute walk away. Here, you can have plenty privacy, yet you are in the heart of everything.

Ballinskelligs area
Ballinskelligs is a quiet beautiful countryside just off the famous Ring of Kerry. The nearby towns are Caherciveen and Waterville (famous for magnificent 18 hole golf course and superb sea and fresh water fishing). Both these towns are only a 15 minute drive away. The long sandy beach is a haven for all ages and its blue flag status makes it very safe for all members of the family.
Visit the local chocolate factory where you can witness the famous Skellig Chocolates being made and then sample some of these delicious delights. A visit to the Cill Rialaig famine village and artists' retreat is a must, where you can meet artists from all over the world working on their masterpieces. Horse riding, canoeing and wind surfing are just a few of the local amenities. Take a trip to the world famous Skellig Rock or take in some angling in safe waters. Ballinskelligs pier with safe mooring facilities is nearby. You will not be bored in wonderful Ballinskelligs and you will go home totally refreshed.
How to get there
Fly direct to Kerry with Ryanair and avail yourself of the cheap flights. Alternatively, fly to Cork, Dublin or Shannon. Ferry ports are Cork and Rosslare.
