Fin lodge is a traditional 6 person chalet and is situated in a beautiful rural setting.The accommodation comprises of a large open plan living/dining room with fully equipped kitchen area.There are three bedrooms consisting of a double bedroom, small bunk bedded room,twin bedded room, all with wardrobes.There is a shower room and utility room.Double doors take you to the sun deck outside where you can sit and take in the scenery and the clear Scottish air.Fin Lodge has everything to give you a fantastic holiday in the beautiful Scottish Highlands.

The Highlands region

Ballindalloch is the ideal centre for a holiday.Situated almost exactly in the centre of Moray with one of the highest sunshine levels in the U.K ,you are in an ideal position to take advantage of the many attractions the area has to offer.


Ballindalloch / Cragganmore area

Close by is Cragganmore distillery which is open to visitors by appointment,and just over a mile away is the Ballindalloch post office shop and garage,just a little way up the road is the Delnashaugh hotel which is popular for meal and bar facilities.Aberlour is approx 7 miles which has shops and Grantown-on-Spey lies approx 10 miles away in the opposite direction.


How to get there

Ballindalloch is situated on the A95 between Grantown'on'Spay and Aberlour.Travelling from Grantown'on'Spay take the first turning left after entering Ballindalloch which is sign posted cragganmore and Spayside way.Fin lodge is a couple of minutes drive and is the first lodge on the right.

Set beside the river Spey and close to the Speyside way,with its miles of traffic free walking,this well appointed Finnish log chalet is one of a small group nestled between farmland and river.Just 2 miles away is Ballindalloch Castle, its lovley grounds famously home to the oldest Aberdeen Angus herd. Visitors can relive the steam age with a trip on the Strathspey railway ,and sample some of Scotland's finest whisky on the distillery trail.Golf,fishing and riding nearby.Within 3/4 hour of Cairngorm and 1/2hour of the Lecht, you are well situated to take advantage of the superb winter sports in the area.Hill walking is another attraction especially in the summer months.The Spey is world famous for its salmon fishing.The lodge is situated overlooking the river and close to the river Avon.The area boasts some excellent golf courses,the Ballindalloch course being approx 1 mile away.The Grampian Highlands 70 castles have a fascinating historical tale to tell of the area.For walkers there is the famous Speyside way which lies a short distance away.
