Home description
The log cabin is newly built in 2007 and finished to a very high standard. It is located 100m from Lake Drumcoura and 100m from Lake Awaddy. It is in a low density development of about 20 similar log cabins and has its own Equestrian Centre on site.
If you like horses, Fishing, Boating or Cowboys - This is the place for you. There is an unique Bar / Restaurant on site which is cowboy themed on. Known locally as the "Dude Ranch" it is officially called the "Saloon". Complete with swinging doors and mid west American cowboy Memorabilia

The Central Ireland / County Leitrim region
Leitrim is famous for its lakes and hills. It's a wonderful holiday alternative to some of the mainstream destinations as it is totally unspoilt.
It's Ireland's least populous county and remains an idyllic rural setting. The Main shopping town is Carrick-on-Shannon which is located on the River Shannon. There are multiplex cinemas and children's activities there should the weather prevent outdoor activities.
Nearby is Lough Key forest park which is a peaceful place to stroll around. There is also a children's educational activity centre here where different tasks need to be completed to move to the next level.
Arigna Mines is also nearby and it give an interesting insight into the lives of our forefathers.
Enniskillen is just a short drive away from Ballinamore. There's a good selection of supermarkets there with lower prices than elsewhere
Ballinamore area
Ballinamore is a town that time has been good to. It is a very traditional Irish town with many of the shop fronts still in the Irish language, It is a perfect spot for touring the lakes of "Lovely Leitrim". There are some very characterful bars and some good restaurants.
There are interesting shops and Galleries in Ballinamore and a children's playground

Further details indoors: The Log Cabin is a 2 storey 3 bedroomed house. As we use it a lot ourselves we have done it up to the highest possible specification, with luxurious beds, leather sofas, chandeliers, LCD TV etc. There is also a Large 4 burner gas barbecue for those summer evenings on the terrace. It is in a wonderfully quiet location, but one bustling with activities such as horse jumping, Pony trekking, fishing, boating, Tennis or simply walking around the lakes. It is a very safe area for children with virtually no traffic.

Rental are for a minimum period of 2 nights and can be priced at a daily or weekly rate or combination. A booking deposit of 25% is required upon booking being confirmed with the balance 6 weeks prior to arrival
