The South East Ireland / County Wexford region
This area is known as the Sunny South East. It is one of the foremost areas in the country for tourism. There are numerous places to visit within a short drive - JFK Park, Dunbrody Famine Ship, National Heritage Park , Johnstown Castle Hook Lighthouse, to name just a few.
Both Wexford and Waterford have developed hugely in recent times and offer many restaurants and good shopping.
Both areas offer Bowling, Indoor play centres and lots of nightlife.
Ballinaboola area
Ballinaboola is set just off the main N25 road from Wexford to Waterford. The local pub The Horse and Hounds is known for its good food and welcoming atmosphere. Wexford is the nearest large town offering a huge selection of shops, banks, restaurants, bars, nightclubs and various children's activities. JFK Memorial park and The Irish National Heritage Centres are also close by.
