"The perfect place to stay in Balestrate"
Balestrate is an easy drive from Palermo . We met Andrea at the outskirts of the village where she showed us how to find the villa.
It is a short drive from the village and set in a quiet neighborhood. It was with great excitement that my friend & I explored the house. Very spacious & cool from the heat outside.
There is a roof terrace where we sat each evening, enjoying a glass or two of Prosecco, watching the sun set over the sea.
On the ground level is another terrace, this one is covered so it's a nice place for meals.
The villa itself is well equipped & the beds are comfortable.
Andrea and Girolamo went out of their way to make our stay perfect. Even rushing to our rescue after we'd locked ourselves out.
There is parking and a garden for kiddies to play.
To say I wish I was there now is an understatement. I can't wait to go back .
Balestrate is a great place to stay to discover Sicily. But if you don't want to travel far, the beach is wonderful.
We ate at the villa each night so I can't recommend any restaurants. After a day out exploring we couldn't wait to get back to Casa Veliz.
