The holiday cottages are situated in Baldersdale (made famous as the former home of Hannah Hauxwell), two miles from the village of Cotherstone, which has two excellent pubs and a village shop/post office.
Holiday guests can enjoy nature walks around the estate, fishing on the estate and in nearby reservoirs, free-range eggs from the resident hens and seasonal food from the vegetable garden and orchard.

The smallest of our cottages, Studio, is ideal for two people. It has a bathroom, double bedroom and large living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting room. There is a sofa bed in the sitting room if guests wish to sleep separately. The cottage is on one level and suitable for guests of limited mobility.

Award-winning East Briscoe Farm Cottages are set in a beautifully peaceful, south-facing position, on a 14-acre wooded riverside estate in Teesdale, County Durham.
Bookings start and end on Fridays and/or Mondays - short breaks are available throughout the year.

"Excellent location and cottage, can't wait to stay again!!"
Cottage was lovely with all the essentials and set in beautiful surroundings. The views were amazing and it was quiet and peaceful. Only stayed 4 nights so have booked again for longer this time, can't wait already!
