Home description
Villa Romana is located right on the water's edge just minutes' walk from the beach. The complex of 52 apartments is situated right on the peninsula of a headland (see photo in gallery). Its location has uninterrupted sea views and is totally private and peaceful, yet only fifteen minutes from the larger resorts such as Balchik or Kavarna.
The villa benefits from its own south facing private pool, with a shallow pool perfect for the children. Leading from the living room is a spacious balcony with stunning sea views, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With two single beds and a sofa/double bed the studio is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

The Black Sea Coast region
Holiday Club Villa Romana is situated in "Karvuna" resort also known as Topola or White Lagoon, on the azure coast of the Black Sea. Villa Romana is situated on the tip of the headland (see photos) which is populated by a small number of quiet hotels and high standard complexes. There are two beaches on the headland, both within easy walking distance and both served by a beach bar and restaurant. There is a small traditional harbour.
It is 55 km away from the International airport Varna and only 6 km from the picturesque town of Balchik. Balchik is an historic fishing town with Queen Marie of Romania's summer palace and botanical gardens. Balchik has mini supermarkets and many seafront restaurants with the seating area as jetties over the sea. The famous “Albena” resort is just 15 km from the Holiday Club Villa Romana. Three golf courses, unique in their landscape and having a magnificent sea view, (2-4 km).
Balchik area
The seaside village of Topola is a very quiet and undiscovered village with a virgin sandy beach. It is included in Kavarna Municipality, Dobrich District and is situated 54 km north from the city of Varna, and 50 minutes away from Varna international airport by car.
Its closeness to sea, sea side cities and resorts (6 km from Balchik, 6km from Kavarna, 36km from Golden Sands, 15km from Albena) and new built golf courses (near Balchik - "Lighthouse" with (www.lighthousegolfresort.com) designer Ian Woosnam and "Black Sea Rama" (www.blacksearama.com) with designer Gary Player; between villages of Topola and Bozhurets -and "Thracian Cliffs" being built with designer - Gary Player) make the area very attractive to golfers and a desirable place to stay.
Also nearby is the largest waterpark in Eastern Europe (www.aquapolis.net). There is lots for the family to do from horse riding, pro -karting, 3 mast ship evening cruises, dolphinarium to name but a few activities within an hour drive.
