Home description
Zelena Kushta is set in the tranquil village of Tsarichino. A really easy five minute drive to the two beautiful golden beaches and marina in Balchik. There is a superb array of beach side restaurants in which you can eat and drink incredibly cheaply and enjoy the amazing sea views. Explore the fascinating shops and market stalls along the waters edge.
An extremely cheap and accessible taxi service runs to and from the village for those who may fancy a drink at the beach!
The villa is ideal for a relaxing family holiday benefitting from two double en-suite bedrooms, a twin en-suite bedroom and a fully fitted kitchen. The spacious lounge, which has a comfortable sofa bed to sleep two people, leads onto a large stylish fully-lit dining terrace where you can unwind in the hot Baltic sun or wile away those lovely balmy evenings.
The terrace enables you to enjoy superb alfresco dining made from the beautifully fresh local produce and fruit from the numerous trees in the garden. The local Bulgarian wine is a heavenly complement to your meal which can be made on the barbecue. Eating outside on the terrace in the evenings, listening to the excellent Bulgarian folk-pop music softly playing on the radio is a truly pleasurable experience for everyone, especially for those with young children sleeping just inside - no need for baby sitters!

The Black Sea Coast region
Bulgaria is fast becoming a truly popular holiday spot and the Black Sea Coast is the most visited area in Bulgaria. Stunning golden beaches along the incredible warm waters, beautiful forests and lakes, exciting city attractions, fabulously cheap shopping areas and ancient buildings are all reasons for anyone to have an amazing holiday at the Black Sea. The summer climate is fantastic with lots of sun and warmth throughout the months from May to October. The culture and history in Bulgaria is fascinating with many imposing architectural sights to behold including the Assumption Cathedral with its beautiful golden domes, set in the vibrant city of Varna.
Balchik / Tsarichino area
Tsarichino is a pretty hamlet just north of Balchik. Balchik is a quaint town dating over 16 centuries known to the locals as the White Town on account of the prominent lime rocks within the area. Beautiful cobbled streets lead to the busy marina which is a stopping point for many fabulous yachts and along the seafront promenade are lots of bars and restaurants. Lively outdoor discos during the summer make the little town a vibrant place to spend an evening. Like everywhere in Bulgaria your money goes a long way as everything is so amazingly cheap! Taxis from the village to Balchik cost as little as £1.50 so you can enjoy your evening in the bars without worrying about driving home.
Local tourist attractions include the Botanical Gardens of Balchik and Romanian Queen Marie's Summer Palace - both splendid sights worthy of a visit. A waterpark on the esplanade is a real fun spot for the childen and the International beach resort of Albena with its long white sandy Blue Flag beaches is a short drive away - ideal for a visit with the kids!
There are two fantastic golf courses nearby - two being the fabulous Gary Player designed links courses called the BlackSeaRama where the Bulgarian Open has recently been held and the Lighthouse Course. The sea views from the courses are incredible and the keen golfer can benefit not only from these magnificent links courses but from a superb state-of-the-art driving range and golf academy (at BlackSeaRama) - not to mention the magnificent "19th Hole" where the food is an absolute joy.
Fishing off the harbour is a popular sport and fishing trips out to sea are easily arranged at the marina.
Jet skis are available for hire and wind surfing is also fast becoming a popular local sport.

Further details indoors: The villa is newly built and finished to a high standard with all the modern appliances you will need for an extremely enjoyable and comfortable stay.
Upstairs are two double bedrooms with large double beds, dressing areas and en-suite wet room style bathrooms. The main bedroom has its own private balcony, which can also be accessed from the landing area should you wish your guests to join you out there.
A spacious ceramic floored landing leads down the staircase to the hall off which the third twin-bedded bedroom is located. This bedroom also has its own dressing area and en-suite bathroom.
The beautiful open plan lounge has one large three seater comfortable sofa-bed (ample size to sleep to large people), a two seater sofa and two lovely squishy bean bags. A log fire place gives the room a lovely romantic and cosy feel on cooler evenings (however there are thankfully not many of those in the summer). A television and DVD player provides entertainment and we would strongly recommend guests to take along their own films (DVDs) and music CDs to play. A dining table with four chairs provides for internal eating and the table and four chairs on the terrace gives enough space to feed eight people.
The kitchen is fully fitted with everything you will need for a comfortable stay including a washing machine - so no need to pack lots of clothes! There is also a separate toilet downstairs - handy for those sleeping on the sofa bed.
A truly lovely house for everyone to enjoy!
Further details outdoors: The large garden is very private with walls and fencing on all sides. A private parking area to the side of the house is large enough for two cars.
Outside lighting all around the property enables you to be able to sit out and enjoy the evenings on the terrace and balcony - even when it gets dark!
The alfresco dining is an absolute must - the terrace table and chairs and barbecue are possibly the most used items at the house!!!
An above ground 15ft swimming pool is the perfect way to keep cool on those hot summer days and great for the kids to splash about!
Sun loungers are also available allowing guests to bathe in the hot summer sun.
