The Black Sea Coast region

Balchik / Tsarichino area
Tsarichino is a pretty hamlet just north of Balchik. Balchik is a quaint town dating over 16 centuries known to the locals as the White Town on account of the prominent lime rocks within the area. The busy marina is a stopping point for many fabulous yachts and along the seafront promenade are many bars and restaurants. Lively outdoor discos during the summer make the little town a vibrant place to spend an evening. Like everywhere in Bulgaria you will not need to spend much money as everything is so amazingly cheap! Taxis from the village to Balchik cost as little as £1.50 so you can enjoy your evening in the bars without worrying about driving home.
