"Tranquil and Lovely. A small taste of heaven"
Fron Uchaf was exactly what Debbie has set out in the ads. A lovely old stone cottage set in the hills of North Wales. The view is pastoral as you look out over the hills to the little village below a… More

We stayed in this beautiful cottage for a week and really didn't want to leave. It is furnished to a really high standard, and has a great homely feel, especially sitting in front of a lovely roaring fire. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need, and has a large table and chairs. The garden room is a real suntrap and holds all sorts of games, dvd's and cd's for any rainy days. The beds were very comfy, ensuring a good nights sleep. The roll top bath is an added bonus. It was a delight to hear the neighbours (sheep & cows!) when we woke in the mornings, but you must remember that you are staying in the countryside, so there are occasionally country smells! It is set in an area so far away from city life, that we found it absolutely amazing, and relaxing beyond belief. This cottage and surrounding area has been a real find, and we will definitely be returning.

Stayed at Fron Urchaf for a birthday treat with my partner in March. The cottage itself is superb-it has a huge log burning fire, a large kitchen with all of the amenities you could need and a lovely boutique master bedroom with a fabulous roll top bath- perfect for relaxing in after a hard day out walking! The surrounding area itself is also beautiful, however we didn't get to explore it to much due to getting snowed in after a couple of days- we will therefore definately be returning to explore the area a little more!
In short this cottage is perfect for anyone who wants a relaxed break away in a luxurious cottage with all of the comforts of home! Deborah and Geoff (the owners) we also so helpful and friendly and we cannot speak highly enough of them! Thank you :)

"A country living dream!"
Stayed here for a week over the Easter and royal wedding weekends and couldn't have asked for a lovelier or more relaxing place to stay.
The cottage is located in the middle of the most amazing countryside with views to die for. It was wonderful to only hear the sounds of the birds, cows and sheep and there are an abundance of great walks right from the doorstep. There is so much to see and do in the surrounding areas that I wish we had booked an extra week!
The cottage is furnished to a very high standard, with great attention to detail and everything you could possibly need is provided. It was lovely of an evening to sit infront of the fire in the main sitting room and the sun room was an added bonus - perfect for relaxing with a book. Would most definitely stay there again.
