Set out across 3 floors this 4 bedroom property is a spectacular location for any holiday for a family or a group of friends. A well-equipped modern galley-style kitchen. With the most fantastic award-winning Welsh butcher just across the road (he even has recipe cards!) and the shops of the entire High Street on your doorstep, in this truly delightful kitchen you will be able to whip up some spectacular culinary treats in a flash. It is fully equipped with everything you will need to self-cater for 8 guests.
There is an airy dining room/conservatory with oak dining table and chairs. This is a lovely setting to enjoy a hearty meal at the end of a fun-filled day. The sitting room is large with comfortbale furnishings. There is a fantastic gas-fuelled log-burner ideal for warming yourself at night as you relax in the peace and tranquility that the property offers.
The property is located in a peaceful little cul-de-sac just off Bala High Street but in the heart of the shops, pubs and restaurants. Within easy walking distance of Bala Lake ideal for watersports and fishing.

4 spacious newly decorated bedrooms which consist of 1x double with en suite bathroom including bath tub. 1x further double room, 1x twin room and 1xbunk bedroom. 3 bathrooms, which are 1 en suite, 1 shower room and 1 cloakroom/wc. The bedrooms are carefully designed with lots of Laura Ashley fabrics, wallpapers and lighting. Bed linens are pretty, crisp and fresh, our comfy beds are freshly made for your stay just before arrival. Towels and fuel are included in the tariff. Spotless and immaculate comes as standard.
The kitchen is galley-style, newly fitted, and is modern and stylish. All equipment, crockery, cutlery and appliances in the kitchen are new as of December 2008. The cosy sitting room has a gas-fuelled log-burner stove, plasma TV/DVD and CD player. New leather unit seating is comfortable and more than adequate for 8 guests to flop and drop at the end of a wonderful day. The dining room/conservatory is tasteful and tranquil with lots of lighting options. There is an assortment of games to while away an fun evening by the fireside.
Further details outdoors:
The Town House has public parking outside the front door. There is a plot of land to the side of the house which offers good parking. The Town House has no garden to speak of, as the rear yard has been utilised for a conservatory. However, there is just enough room to barbecue outside and with the double doors of the conservatory opening onto the little yard, eating in the conservatory is a pleasure!
There is a lockable brick out-house for secure storage of bikes and canoes and a side gate access.
Further details
A deposit of 1/3 is required on booking with the balance due 8 weeks prior to the holiday start date. Payment can be made by cheque or by card over the telephone. Please note that there is a 2% fee for credit cards, no fee for debit cards.

A travel cot, highchair , stairgate and socket covers are provided for infants under 2 years. Please note that we don't provide baby cot linen.
Check-in at the Town House is usually between 4.00pm and 6.00pm. Check-out is by 10.00am. Wherever possible, if requested, we can accommodate guests needing more flexibility with arrival and departure times. In the main holiday weeks, the Town House is Friday to Friday.
Conditions
The Town House has no carpets on the ground floor, it is tiled with rugs. However as all the rest of the house is carpeted, we request that shoes are not worn upstairs.
If you wish to bring a well-behaved dog to The Town House, please contact us. We do not in any circumstances allow dogs on the furniture or upstairs or to be left unaccompanied in the house.

North Wales is a big kids adventure playground. Full of activities including white water rafting, Orca, Quad biking, pony trekking, canyoning, rock climbing and abseiling , clay pigeon shooting, bushcraft, go karting and many more.
Snowdonia is one of the most ancient and beautiful areas in Europe. It is truly a place of breathtaking beauty that no one can fully comprehend until they have visited the area. It is a land rich in opportunities for adventure, activity and discovery.
The Bala area
North Wales is an adventure playground for adults and kids - Bala is a perfect base to access the range of activities available for a family week holiday or short weekend break with friends
The Town House is in the heart of the shops, pubs and restaurants and within easy level walking distance of Bala Lake, with its narrow-gauge railway, watersports and fishing.
Just minutes away are all the activities any discerning activity seeker could wish for. Breathtaking scenery for simply walking and exploring the countryside, Bala Golf Club, National White Water Centre for white water rafting, The Get Wet Adventure Company offer paintballing, high ropes, 4x4 guided safaris and much more. Bala Adventure & Watersports will offer more activities than can be fitted into several visits here!
20 minutes away by car is Coed y Brenin, the Mecca of mountain biking. Cycle hire is available locally and there is secure storage at the Town House to bring your own bikes. The circular route around Bala Lake is 14 miles, with a local pub, The Eagles at Llanuwchllyn serving delicious home-cooked food for a well-earned break or lunch on the way.
Bala Town offers an internet cafe, 2 superb local butchers, banks, a range of restaurants and pubs as well as take-away food.
Nearby in Parc, walk up the Arenig mountain, from the summit, it is possible to see the coast of Ireland, the tip of Snowdon and no less than 10 lakes!
The Precipice Walk and the Torrent Walk just outside Dolgellau are perfect for taking in the scenery.
