This breathtaking cottage is tucked away within the stunning mountains of Snowdonia National Park, within easy driving distance to the quaint town of Bala. The peaceful and rural unique location is perfect for that quiet, relaxing break. It's also a haven for the walkers and water sports enthusiasts amongst you with several walks, rivers and lakes on the doorstep. And with plenty more outdoor activities and attractions to choose from, this is the perfect countryside retreat.

Living room/diner – A large beamed lounge with floor to ceiling stone chimney breast. Open fire with solid oak floor throughout. Large comfortable leather corner sofa and chair with a HD sky box, television and dvd player. Dual aspect windows with patio doors leading onto lawned garden with spectacular views over Llyn Celyn and beyond. In the diner part of the room there is a large solid oak dining table with benches.
The utility room has a coat hanging area, washer/dryer, airier/ironing board etc and fridge freezer.

The North Wales region
The cottage is located in an idyllic Welsh countryside setting in Snowdonia National Park. It overlooks Lake Celyn in the Tryweryn Valley with the mountains of Arenig Fach and Arenig Fawr to one side. Along with just one other holiday cottage on site, Bwthyn Llyn Celyn is surrounded by 9.5 acres of grounds that includes two rivers and a wooded area - the perfect getaway from it all.
There's a small shop for essentials 2.5 miles away and Bala (6 miles) offers a range of amenities from supermarkets, banks and a garage to cafes, restaurants and bars.
If you enjoy outdoor activities such as walking, water sports and cycling (detailed below) you will love the location of this cottage. Rock climbing, gorge walking, quad biking and a Go Ape high wire course add even more spice to the variety and the world renowned mountain biking centre at Coed y Brenin is a must.
If you feel like a break from all the activities, or simply want a relaxing holiday, take a ride on the scenic Bala Lake railway, visit popular attractions such as Portmeirion and Swallow Falls in Betws y Coed, explore the local historic towns of Bala and Dolgellau and enjoy the magnificent scenery as you travel. As a designated site of scientific natural interest, it is also an ideal location for nature lovers and photographers who wish to capture a glimpse of the otters, great crested newts and the abundance of rare birds and wildlife that inhabit the area.
