This luxury holiday cottage in Snowdonia has been converted from a traditional 18th century long barn. The cottage is fabulous for families and a stunning romantic getaway for couples. Surrounded by mountains and lakes and within walking distance to the local pub, which serves fantastic food. Relax in the private hot-tub, enjoy walking and cycling or try your hand at sailing, canoeing, rafting etc at nearby Bala Lake and the National White Water Centre.
Spacious open plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining and sitting areas, along with under floor heating. 3 steps lead down to the conservatory with French doors leading to a decked area with a fabulous hot tub and wonderful mountain views. There are 4 inviting sofas in the lounge area along with TV and DVD. The large dining table sits 8 and the fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and a large fridge/ freezer.
The ground floor also has a spacious en-suite bedroom with a king size bed (and an additional “put me up bed” for 8th person on request) and TV / DVD. En-suite includes shower over bath, tall chrome heated towel rail and under floor heating. Bathrobes and slippers provided.
There is also a WC/basin and a separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer on this floor.

The Bala area
Beudy’r Bryn holiday cottage is located in a stunning location overlooking the picturesque village of Llanuwchllyn and the Aran mountain. Set at the southern tip of Snowdonia National Park in North Wales it offers a great central point to take a holiday or short break.
Llanuwchllyn is a mile away and a visit to the Eagles Inn is a must for excellent home made food and cold beer - the traditional Welsh Sunday lunch is a treat not to be missed. Enjoy a lovely walk along the river Lliw or a longer, scenic walk along the shores of Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake) to the market town of Bala. Alternatively, hop on the little steam train from the village and travel in style.
Bala is 4.5 miles away and has a number of good quality restaurants and pubs. This bustling town lies within the beautiful Snowdonia National Park and is located at the other end of Llyn Tegid, the largest natural lake in Wales and home to unique fish called the Gwyniaid. It is also home to watersports of all types that can be enjoyed with or without expert instruction. Nearby, the National White Water Centre, Canolfan Tryweryn offers white knuckle rafting and much more. Bala Leisure Centre with swimming pool & waterslide is also nearby.
A wealth of outdoor activities are literally on the doorstep from rock climbing, gorge walking, canoeing, pony trekking, quad biking to mountain biking in the stunning Coed y Brenin Forest trails and more. If all this sounds all a bit like too much hard work, why not take a gentle stroll or drive and take in some of the most breathtaking scenery in Europe.

Wales is easily reached from the London airports whether you travel by train, car or bus. If you rent a car, you can get from London to South Wales in only two to three hours. By train it’s even quicker, just two hours from London to Cardiff. If you prefer to travel by bus, National Express coach services travel direct to both South Wales and North Wales.

Set in a very private location. beautiful views and beautiful clean modern barn conversion. The owners made us feel very welcome and it was a lovely escape from London.
