This 5 star holiday cottage with a hot tub is situated on a 9 acre equine farm in Snowdonia and offers a perfect location for both families and couples. Tyddyn y Bryn offers warm, cosy accommodation near mountains and lakes and is within walking distance to the local pub, which serves fantastic food. Relax in the private hot-tub, enjoy walking and cycling or try your hand at sailing, canoeing, rafting etc at nearby Bala Lake and the National White Water Centre.
Tyddyn y Bryn has a large open plan kitchen and living area on the first floor with velux roof windows creating a light and airy feel. The fully equipped kitchen includes a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher & washer/dryer. Large dining table has seating for 6.
The private hot tub is located outside under the trees in the garden (price fully inclusive for unlimited use). There is also a BBQ set and 2 play areas.

The Bala area
Tyddyn y Bryn 5 star cottage is located in a stunning location overlooking the picturesque village of Llanuwchllyn and the Aran mountain. Set at the southern tip of Snowdonia National Park in North Wales it offers a great central point to take a holiday or short break.
Llanuwchllyn is a mile away and a visit to the Eagles Inn is a must for excellent home made food and cold beer - the traditional Welsh Sunday lunch is a treat not to be missed. Enjoy a lovely walk along the river Lliw or a longer, scenic walk along the shores of Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake) to the market town of Bala. Alternatively, hop on the little steam train from the village and travel in style.
Bala is 4.5 miles away and has a number of good quality restaurants and pubs. This bustling town lies within the beautiful Snowdonia National Park and is located at the other end of Llyn Tegid, the largest natural lake in Wales and home to unique fish called the Gwyniaid. It is also home to watersports of all types that can be enjoyed with or without expert instruction. Nearby, the National White Water Centre, Canolfan Tryweryn offers white knuckle rafting and much more. Bala Leisure Centre with swimming pool & waterslide is also nearby.
A wealth of outdoor activities are literally on the doorstep from rock climbing, gorge walking, canoeing, pony trekking, quad biking to mountain biking in the stunning Coed y Brenin Forest trails and more. If all this sounds all a bit like too much hard work, why not take a gentle stroll or drive and take in some of the most breathtaking scenery in Europe.

Wales is easily reached from the London airports whether you travel by train, car or bus. If you rent a car, you can get from London to South Wales in only two to three hours. By train it’s even quicker, just two hours from London to Cardiff. If you prefer to travel by bus, National Express coach services travel direct to both South Wales and North Wales.
