This gorgeous cottage has been furnished and decorated to a high standard throughout and sleeps four people in style and comfort. Pudding Cottage could be described as the epitome of attention to detail and offers warm and cosy accommodation for the visitor. Comprising of a tastefully decorated dining kitchen with all the necessary fixtures and fittings as well as a lounge with a homely feel and a TV, DVD player, iPod dock, CD/radio player and wood burning stove, this property has everything you need for a stress free holiday. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms; one twin, suitable for children only, and one double with a comfortable king size bed and flat screen TV, as well as a luxurious family bathroom. Also boasting a rear enclosed courtyard with table and chairs, Pudding Cottage is a superb holiday property in a truly superb location.

The Heart of England / Peak District / Peak District/Derbyshire region

The Peak District and Derbyshire is a contrast of high rolling moorland, craggy outcrops and picture post card vales and valleys with 'chocolate box' villages.
The whole area is dominated by Britain's first national park; The Peak District National Park which has been catering for visitors for many years. It's easy to get around with a good network of roads and excellent public transport.
There are many places of interest including some lovely towns and villages such as Bakewell, Buxton and Ashbourne as well as historical attractions like Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall.
To the north of the region is the High Peak, with miles of heather moorland and great country walks and cycling.

The Bakewell area

Famous for being the home of the Bakewell Pudding, the lovely old market town of Bakewell is situated in the Peak District National Park and boasts a number of interesting visitor attractions. With historic buildings, riverside walks, shops, pubs, weekly markets, restaurants and much more, Bakewell has a wealth of things to see and do and acts as an idyllic setting for a Peak District holiday. With stunning views and varied surrounding countryside, it is also the ideal destination for any keen outdoor enthusiasts and walkers alike. Being nearby to the famous spa town of Buxton, visitors to Bakewell will not be far from exciting attractions such as the Buxton Opera House and Poole's Cavern and the famous Chatsworth House is also nearby, making Bakewell an excellent choice of destination for anyone wishing to explore the best of what the Peak District has to offer.
