This delightful stone terraced cottage is just a few minutes walk from the centre of Bakewell and has been lovingly restored to provide a fabulous holiday property. The siting room is cosy and inviting and has a wood burner to make the room a restful place after a busy day. There is a bright, airy kitchen and the advantage of a separate dining room, and the two bedrooms are beautifully furnished and decorated, offering a tranquil haven in which to have a refreshing night’s sleep. The luxurious bathroom has a separate shower and a bath perfect for unwinding. There is a small, pretty courtyard with a gas barbecue and furniture, and with all the amenities and attractions close to Bakewell this cottage is an ideal base for a holiday.

Parking permit provided for one car for roadside residential parking, additional parking (free) 50-100 yards from cottage. Small courtyard with furniture and gas BBQ. Two well-behaved dogs welcome at £10 per pet. Sorry, no smoking. Shops and pubs 2 mins walk.

The Bakewell area
Bakewell is a charming market town and offers a variety of shops restaurants, pubs and of course the famous ‘Bakewell Market’ mainly held on a Monday and which dates back to at least 1300. At the centre of the town is a 17th Century market hall and the famous public house the Rutland Arms, built in 1804 and said to be the home of the ‘Bakewell Pudding.’ There are some very pleasant walks from the bridge in the centre of Bakewell that go along the river and Bakewell is a perfect place from which to explore the Peak District, with the White and Dark Peaks within easy reach. In nearby Castleton the Blue John caverns are an impressive site to see and the halls of Haddon and Hardwick are both well worth a visit.

Mom Dad and 16 year old daughter travel to England to spend one week in the countryside and one week in London...our stay in Bakewell and Knoll Cottage was in one word...perfect! Knoll Cottage is the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. Everything was in great working order. Truly the nicest home away from home ever! We will return to Bakewell and Knoll Cottage!! Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
