St James/St Peter border is located in the countryside with only 5 minutes drive to Mullins beach, the location is great for couples wanting a romantic break or 6 good friends needing to chill out, and ideal for families wanting safety for children to play as there is a local park a few minutes walk from the house, within the development.

This property is well appointed and tastefully decorated throughout. It boast a master bedroom and en suite, two further bedrooms, with family bathroom, beautifully furnished lounge and dining area and a fully equipped Kitchen. the outside terrace is also equipped with a BBQ and large tiled area front and back with veranda.

The St Peter Parish region

St. James/St Peter parish is north of Barbados, its nearest towns are Speightstown and Holetown. Both places are old towns Speightstown for fishing and Holetown for good night life.

Fisherman's pub in Speightstown for daily local good food and Wednesday nights for live floor shows.
Holetown for sports bars; Surfside and Beach House, duty free shopping. Both towns have banks and supermarket facilities.

Bakers Woods area

Bakers Woods is a new development since 2005 and comprises of 108 properties. Owners are locals and foreign nationals alike. Very friendly, locals are seen doing early morning walking exercises and children riding their bikes in the evening.

Barbados being only 21 square miles nothing is too far, the bus from outside the development runs to Bridgetown every hour, and Speightstown/Holetown every 2 hours. With a hire car/bus trips to the museum is well worth a look. The museum is located near the Garrison in town.

Friday nights are a must in Oistin, fresh fish fry, live music and a variety of locals and visitors alike. Miami beach is one of the best beaches so leave home early, go to Miami beach in St.Philip, on the way home stop off at Oistins.

Earthworks Pottery,animal cave, swimming with the turtles, Harrisons cave are all a must see. However if all you want to do is drive and see the sights, Bathsheba is lovely for a picnic, the view from the Atlantic Ocean is breath taking, divers riding the wave. All this is on the East of the Island.

Those who want night life Lord Willoughb's Tavern is only 10 minutes drive on highway 2a at Bagatelle in St. Thomas Bajan Roots and Rhythms for live entertaining at Lawrence Gap in Christ Church. In the Gap no one is sleeping, the area is always buzzing night and day. Barbados is lovely for Golf, diving, swimming, walking or just plain sitting on my patio doing nothing.

Virgin Atlantic fly to Barbados daily with very good rates.

Local agent can arrange airport collection fee BBD$85 payable to driver on the day.
Taxi's are available at the Grantley Adams International airport for around BBD$85 to the property which is located on Highway 2a. There are various car hire rental companies; if you are renting and collecting car at the airport, take the main highway keeping to Highway 2A, we are located on the left hand side of the road, journey around 20 - 30 minutes.
