GREEN HOUSE - TWO LEVEL INDIVIDUAL HOUSE - On the first floor - bedroom (double bed) with bathroom and shower, wardrobe room - Large window with panoramic view over the Umbrian mountains, the Tiber Valley and the volcanic cliffs around Bagnoregio.

On the groundfloor - Living room/fully equipped kichen with comfortable sofa bed (2 people), large fireplace, bathroom with shower.

Green House was recently and perfectly refurbished, elegant furniture (country style)

GREEN HOUSE is located at CASTEL CELLESI, (7 Km. from Bagnoregio). It is a quiet rural village at the crossroad o three regions: Latium, Umbria and Tuscany between Orvieto and Viterbo (ca. 30 km. from each place) Nestled in the TUSCIA Region - the ETRUSCA ITALY - Castel Cellesi is surrounded by emerald-green fields, silver green olive groves....it is made for relaxing. Yet all around it there are places of historic, artistic, archaelogical and scenic interest: within easy reach of Civita di Bagnoregio with its famous "calanchi" (volcanic cliffs),Orvieto with its famous gothic Cathedral, Viterbo with an important medieval suburb and the famous thermal springs (spa), Lake Bolsena for (fishing, swimming, and sailing, Tuscania Etruscan and medieval city, Siena and Assisi, two of the most important cities of Tuscany and Umbria.

The nearby highway takes you quickly to Florence and Rome.

The Lazio region

The Northern part of Lazio is known as TUSCIA - the Etruscan Italy - Many archaelogical sites to visit such as the necropolis of Blera, Norchia etc.. the famous Etruscan cities of Tuscania, Tarquinia with its painted tombs, Vulci and many others.

All over the area also a great number of extremely important Churches, Palaces, Villas, Castles, Fortresses and hilltop Villages.

It is the place for art and history lovers !!!!

Bagnoregio

Castel Cellesi (loc. Bagnoregio) is located at the meeting point of Lazio, Umbria and Tuscany. A 16th century village where the road ends in the great Piazza. Stunningly located - surrounded by emerald green fields, piercing blue skies, deep red sunsets, silver grey olive groves - dominating the Tiber valley at the foot of the Umbrian mountains.

Nestled in the northern Tuscia region - the Etruscaan Italy - the village is made for relaxing. Yet it is surrounded by places of historic, artistic and scenic interest. Within easy reach of Civita di Bagnoregio (impressive volcanic cliffs - called calanchi-), Orvieto, Siena, Assisi, Viterbo, Lake Bolsena and the thermal springs of Viterbo. Many more places generally unknown to the average visitor.

The nearby highway whisks us quickly to Florence and Rome.

All over the area a plenty of restaurants and trattorias where people can taste the traditional local food and wine.

All year round, especially Spring and Summer, a great number of festivals, fairs, markets, ceremonies, fireworks, open-air dinners, open-air dance etc.. take place in most of the villages and towns. The Tourist Board of Viterbo will provide you with list/schedule of events.
