Located just 3km from the beautiful spa town of Bagnoles de l'Orne with its Casino and Lake our farmhouse is set within 12 acres of garden, paddocks and woodland, the Old Roman GR22 trail in the Forest des Andaine is just yards away, ideal for walking, horse riding and cycling (bikes available).
Our restored 1st floor Grenier Gite offers comfort and quality for either a short break or a long holiday. Comfortably furnished with all amenities at hand. The owners are located in the main farmhouse separate from the gite but on hand for any assistance.

The Normandy / Orne region
We are located on the D235 between Bagnoles de l'Orne and Juvigny sous Andaine in the Orne department (61).

Normandy is well know for Cider and Calvados, a popular place for Horse lovers with its stud farms and horse displays, plenty of horse riding and trekking locally.
Close by Medieval Towns and Museums of Interest.
Bagnoles de l'Orne / Juvigny sous Andaine area
The spa town of Bagnoles de l' Orne is just 3km away with its Lake and Casino, plenty of Golfing and Fishing close-by. An outdoor swimming pool just 3km and an indoor pool and man made lake with sandy beach just 10 km away.
Juvigny sous Andaine is famous for its National Monument of the La Tour de Bonvouloir and massive Forest des Andaine. There are excellent restaurants and shops/bakery in the local village just 3km away.
La Ferte Mace close by has a man made sandy beach on their wonderful lake, great for kids !
Canoeing 5km on the river Mayenne and private carp fishing on a lake just 5 minutes from our farmhouse. Plenty to do or just relax.

Our paddocks contain various animals from free range poultry, goats, sheep, horse and donkey, plus a small animal menagerie and avairy birds. Our own pet dogs are away from the Gite so Pets are welcome.

A safety gate at the top of the staircase is fitted and ornate iron half grids on low windows. A log burning stove, plus central heating plus additional optional electric heating (no charge).
All towels, linen etc are provided, plus a welcome pack on arrival.
Full shared laundry facilities on ground floor including two washing machines, tumble dryer and double sinks, plus a "boot" sink and drying area.
Normally Saturday to Saturday, Other days by arrangement.
April - September £300 per week. October - March £250 per week.
Deposit / Breakages £100. on confirmation of booking. (refunded 48 hours after departure date) Full payment of holiday due on arrival.
