Located in the heart of the Pyrenees, at the foot of the highest summits of this spectacular mountain range, this apartment fits comfortably 4 persons. It has two big twin-beds (120cm) on the bedroom and a comfortable queen size sofa bed on the living room. A full-equipped kitchen has all the utilities you may need.
The apartment is located in the main boulevard of the town. You will be close to lots of good restaurants in the nearby streets. The Thermal Centre of Luchon is at the end of the street, less than 5 minutes wallking from the building.
Lift to the super-Bagneres ski resort is located 100 meters from the apartment. In 8 minutes you will be skiing. Other ski resorts are less than 20 minutes by car.

The Midi-Pyrenees / Haute-Garonne region
Lying between the Atlantic & Mediterranean coast in the middle of the Pyrenees you'll find the Haute-Garonne. Steep valleys, mountains and lakes dominate the Pyrenees to the south and provide a vast array of opportunities for winter and summer sports alike.
The Garonne valley provides a contrast, dotted with ancient bastides and churches in centres like Martres Tolosane, which is famous for its pottery.To the east is the largely rural Lauragais with its colourful golden sunflowers. This is home to the Unesco World Heritage site, the Canal du Midi - ideal for barge holidays or day cruises.
Numerous castles monasteries and historical sites are located in the whole region for the lovers of cultural heritage.
Bagneres de Luchon area
Choose Luchon, and after a great day of skiing you'll discover the charm of a winter village with an ancient character. Revitalize yourself with the health and fitness programs of the town Thermal Centre and experience the town nightlife in its cinemas, bars, and excellent food in French bistros.
Luchon is and all season town. In summer numerous high altitude lakes invite you to stroll or fish. High altitude enthusiasts will find the quality of rock they're looking for, from the endless treks on the ridges above 3000 meters, to the excitement of mountain climbs on the majestic rock faces of Pic Quaïrat or Les Spijeoles.
You can make a botanical walk in the Val d'Esquiery, accompanied by a local naturalist and there are numerous organized activities. The superbagneres lift is open in summer to take mountain-bike aficionados to the ski resort. You can make paragliding during the summer also.
Luchon has very convinient Golf and Tenis courts as well as fishing areas in the same town.
How to get there
FLIGHTS: Cheap flights to Toulouse or Pau from most uk airports including Gatwick, Heathrow, Stanstead, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow or Edinburgh etc.
1.5 hrs drive from Toulouse, 1hr from Pau - cheap car rental from easycar, holidayautos etc.
Note**Is preferable but not necessary to rent a car**.
TRAIN: -There are daily 8 trains each way (SNCF) or a combination of train and bus to Bagneres de Luchon. Travel time arround 2 Hours from Toulouse and Pau. -TGV High speed trains, and CORAIL long distance, arriving to Toulouse from multiples French Cities.
CAR: Most of the car-trip is through a nice Toll freway ( A-64) . The last 40 Km are in a very comfortable 2 line road.

The inside is completely furnished and with all the accessories, kept with order and taste.The accessibility to let you inside the apartment is excellent for a disabled person in wheelchair, except that for the shower zone.
