Garage Parking. New. Everything is totally modern, comfortable and attractive. The building, which was a barn behind a classic old house. has just been sympathetically converted to five apartments. On the ground floor there is a huge garage, with a remote controlled door, in which the apartment has its own ski locker. There is ample safe storage for bicycles.
The apartment could not be in a better position - opposite the thermal baths in Cours des Quinconces and within walking distance of so many of Luchon's attractions including the shops, restaurants and ski lift. It is reached by an easy flight of stairs and, once inside, has a duplex layout so that the bedroom and shower room are upstairs. In the salon, there is a sofa bed (sleeps two) and a separate toilet, with wash basin, is just inside the entrance to the apartment
The emphasis truly is on comfort and style from the fully fitted and equipped kitchen, the matching towels and beddng to the generous quantities of matching china, glasses and cutlery. The owner has applied the standards that she would expect herself.
With 52.41 m2 of space, there is plenty of room to move around and store your luggage and possessions. Forget classic French apartments - this apartment is up to date and will suit all those who want modern conveniences.
Luchon is a fabulous town in a breathtaking position. There is so much to enjoy that it's hard to list. It's probably easier for you to google "Luchon" and see what takes your fancy. One thing's for sure - this area will not disappoint. It's absolutely gorgeous!

About this location
The Midi-Pyrénées region
How fantastic to walk out of your apartment, jump into your ski boots and head on foot for the lift to Superbagneres. If that isn't enough, you can pick up the navette to Peyragudes. In fact, if you have your own transport you are totally spoilt for ski areas.
In the summer, the cycling is fantastic and Luchon has a terrific buzz. The whole area is stunning and after a hard day's cycling or skiing you only only have to drag yourself across the road from the apartment to luxuriate in the natural sulphur spa.
If the spa is the main reason for your visit, then this apartment is ideally placed for a gentle walk to the entrance. You can even feed the ducks on the way as you will pass through lovely gardens.
There are plenty of restaurants to suit all pockets but as a self catering holiday is meant to be just that, the apartment has everything you need to produce tasty meals. Look out for the weekly market and try the delicious local delicacies.
If you are in Luchon around the end of August you are in for a treat as the flower festival takes some beating. In fact, Luchon truly is a year round town although you will find it rather quieter in November when everyone takes a breather before the ski season starts.
Just look at a 1:200 000 (1 inch = 3.16 miles) map of the Midi-Pyrenees to see how many scenic routes there are in this beautiful area. Walk in to town to pick up everything you need for a picnic and have a great day out. It's easy to go 'over the top' into Spain for an extra adventure.
If the children decide they would rather spend their time in Luchon - never fear! There is the "petit train', swimming, the cinema, tennis, climbing wall, mini-golf. They aren't going to get bored!
Most of all though, a holiday is for relaxing and recharging the batteries and Luchon and the surrounding area will not disappoint.
