The East Anglia / Norfolk region

Norfolk enjoys typical English weather. When it rains it rains, but when the sun shines, Norfolk is amongst the nicest places in the country.

Norfolk is situated on the east coast of the country and is famous for its natural unspoilt beauty. An abundance of green fields and hedgerows hide picture box perfect villages and hamlets and the natives are very friendly.

There are many and various attractions ranging from the tranquil Broads to the historical city of Norwich, which has everything that any visitor could wish for.

The Norfolk coast is home to Cromer, Sheringham, Wells, Blakeney and many other jewels whilst inland there is the Queens residence of Sandringham, the famous lavendar fields and majestical English Heritage halls such as Holkham, Blickling and Felbrigg.

Bacton area

The chalet park is itself of historical interest as it was an Army Barracks that housed the bomb displosal team responsible for clearing Norfolks beaches at the end of the Second World War.

The site is unique in its atmosphere and is one of very few left in the country.

Bacton is a small village perfectly placed for exploring all that Norfolk and indeed East Anglia has to offer. It has a local pubs, restaurants, a small arcade and many other amenities.

How to get there

The property is set on a secluded park on Coast Road, Bacton. There are bus services from Great Yarmouth, Norwich and North Walsham. The nearest train station is North Walsham, connected to via Norwich which in itself is linked to all major rail networks. By road the cabin is easily accessible from the main coast road that runs from Hunstanton down to Southwold.

From North Walsham take the Bacton Road towards Edingthorpe and on to Bacton .As you enter Bacton, turn left onto the BII59.You should pass a petrol station on the right, then followed by a fish and chip shop,a few yards after ,you should notice a carpark also on the right with a shop set back ,immediately after the shop turn right ,into the Chalet Estate.follow the track until you see an opening on your left .number 48 is facing you.

Further details outdoors:
The chalet is set in a peaceful communal park that harks back to the good old days of coastal holidays - peace, quiet and lots of fresh air. A safe haven for children to play and room for adults to breath.

Close by is an amusement arcade if you require, but sufficiently removed not to be heard. Full gamut of seaside amenities are at hand including pubs, restaurants and local attractions.

Conditions

All dogs must be house-trained but unfortunately no puppies. We pride ourselves on being animal lovers but ask that you keep your pet under control whilst in the house and on a lead when outside the chalet or if you leave the door open - we love dogs but not everyone does!

Unfortunately, due to the extra cleaning costs, there is a small surcharge for dogs of £15-00 per animal and it is imperative that dogs are kept off the furniture!
