About the home

Gites De Liberte are a set of 3 Stunning and well equipped Gites located in the beautiful, quiet and historical south of France village of Azille. They over look the enclosed courtyard and pool. Azille is located in the heart of the Minervois wine and Cathare area within the Languedoc region,but also on the border of the Herault region.

We benefit from the Mediterranean weather and have a cafe/bar, epicerie, boulangerie/patisserie, post office, beautifully positioned church, Pizza shop, Andres Ferme restaurant set on a farm overlooking the mountains and vinyards with fresh food and reservations booked by us on request. Both the Canal Du Midi and Lac Du Jouarres are within a few kilometres of the village and we have 2 caveau's called Du Silene and Chateau Guery (where your free wine tasting will take place) which sell the wine they produce in the village.

As the name states you can enjoy the freedom of the area with no ties and relax in total comfort. With 3 beautiful Gites to choose from, our luxurious spa lounge pool with swim and jacuzzi jets, a table to relax with glass of local wine and a space for the children to play it is the perfect place to get away. If you would like to explore the region there is plenty to do and with the excellent Mediterranean beaches 40 minutes away, the beautiful Cite de Carcassonne 35 minutes or the man made beach with the restaurant at lac du juarres only 10 minutes away you'll never be short of options. You will receive a welcome basket and a sample of red, white and rose wine from the local caveau's. We operate an any day check-in with minimum 3 night stay policy all year round so you can tailor your holiday to suit your needs. You can also travel light as we supply linen, towels (including beach towels), shower gel/shampoo and each unit has it's own washer/dryer. Being surrounded by the Black mountains to the north, the Corbiere mountains to the south and vineyards at every exit Gites de Liberte is the perfect place to get away and relax

We have free wi-fi all around the complex as well as a pc and printer for you to use.

You can also make yourself at home with our stone barbecue. If you would like to explore the region there is plenty to do and with the beaches approximately 40-45km or the man made beach with the restaurant at lac du juarres only 5 km'saway you'll never be short of options.
You will receive a welcome basket and a sample of local wine direct from the caveau. We are sure you can enjoy the most relaxing atmosphere in the South of France.

Conditions

We offer a per night rate with a minimum of 3 nights stay.

A £50 or 10% deposit (whichever is the greater) is required at the time of booking or within 10 days if by cheque and the remaining balance is required 4 weeks before arrival. if you book within 4 weeks of arrival then the full amount is required at the time of booking.

PLEASE NOTE a £75 security deposit is required on arrival to cover any incidents that may occur during your visit. This will be re-imbursed upon leaving providing everything is found to be in satisfactory condition.

We accept paypal (credit/debit card),bank transfer and cheque



Please note smoking is not allowed in any of the units but is allowed on the terraces and in the garden.
We can only accommodate one car per booking for Le Studio and L'Appartement in our garage but alternative parking is available in the village. L'Appartement Deluxe Parking is on the adjacent private street (rue de l'enclos).

The Azille area

Azille is a beautiful, small and quiet village in the heart of the relatively untouched area of Minervois in the Languedoc. Surrouned by the Black mountains to the north, Corbiere Mountains to the south and vineyards at every exit it's the perfect place to get away and relax. We are able to offer wine tours, spa treatments (done in house) and a very relaxing atmosphere as well as local activities such as rock climbing, go karting, fantastic walks, bike hire, kanyoning, kayaking, canal boat trips. 5 minutes drive you will find the beautiful Lac Du Jouarres with it's man made beach, popular restaurant and water sports making it a great day out to relax and the Meditteranean beaches are only 40 minutes away. The Canal Du Midi is only 5 minutes away with great walks and scenery
