Fully furnished gite to make your stay comfortable and relaxed. Roof terrace with views of the Black Mountains. B-B-Q. Sky t.v with english channels, d.v.d with large selection of films to view, extensive library selection, and board games to keep you entertained.
For those with children a highchair, cot, changing mat ,cot side, baby carrier all available on request.
Beaches within a 40 minute drive,the Black Mountains 20 minutes away and the Pyrenees can be reached in 2 hours. The gite is situated in the middle of the famous wine producing region of the minervois and corbieres.

The Languedoc-Roussillon / Aude region

Situated in the south of france the Languedoc-Roussillon enjoys a Mediterranean climate.
Azille is found 30 minutes from the famous medieval city of Carcassonne, and is within 5 minutes of the UNESCO world heritage site of the Canal du Midi. The beach is 40 minutes away and you can be in the Black Mountains within 10 minutes. If you fancy a days skiing in the winter the nearest slopes of the pyreenees are within a 2 hours drive.
The area is renowned for its great wines and dining.

Azille area

You will find us situated in the picturesque village of Azille, set in the heart of the famous wine producing region of the minervois, which is located to the south of the Languedoc-Rousillon.
The village has a beautiful tree lined promenade running through the main street and a fortress wall surrounding the heart of the village. Azille boasts a boulangerie, epicerie, post office, tabac, a bar and restaurant serving traditional french cuisine. There are also 2 take away pizza places.Throughout the year Azille is host to many events. There are brocantes and vide greniers(car boot sale), mostly held on Sundays and its two most famous events are held the last weekend of april/first weekend of may and the August bank holiday weekend where thousands flock to the village to enjoy live bands , funfairs, horse shows and of course fantastic food and drink.
The lake de Jouarres is a 5 minutes drive away. Watersports can be found there.

Further details indoors:
Bright airy space with open-plan living and kitchen area. Kitchen is fully fitted with all cooking utensils. Two spacious twin bedrooms each with double wardrobe, chest of drawers and bed side table. Bathroom contains children's bath and six jet shower and washing machine. Separate W.C

The property has a south facing roof terrace with B-B-Q, where you can enjoy your meals al fresco, and soak up the sunshine of the south of France.
Spectacular views of the Black mountains and the roof tops of Azille can be taken in from up here.
There is also a large courtyard which is shared with the owners of the property who live next door.
A large trampoline and a full size pool table are available for use.

Conditions

A refunable breakages deposit of £100,150 euros is requested on arrival. This will then be refunded at the end of your stay less any breakage costs.
Towels are available at £5 a pack which consists of a bath towel, hand towel and face cloth.
