The historic conservation village of Alloway is a short walk from the beaches of Ayr. The bustling county town of Ayr is popular with visitors for its many shops, cobbled pedestrianised walkways, as well as hotels/pubs and coffee houses. Nearby Culzean Castle is well worth a visit to explore its magnificent interior as well as the gardens and swan pond.
