Just beyond these delights, however, you will discover the area has boundless pleasures to offer for all tastes and pursuits.
The apartments are situated on the spectacular Ayrshire coastline, a place of natural beauty and cultural wealth. Here in the birthplace of Robert the Bruce and Robbie Burns, you can explore historic ruins, restored castles and fascinating museums, enjoy stunning scenery and country walks or take the easy trip into Glasgow for a cosmopolitan mix of boutiques and big city living just a 45 minute drive away. The coastline provides endless pastimes ranging from beach picnics to sea angling, from island hopping boat trips to watersports. The Ailsa Craig bird and seal colony is a short boat trip from the fishing village of Girvan. Further up the coast at Largs you can take the car ferry to the Isle of Arran and spend the day in 'miniature Scotland'. There are also two excellent swimming pools within five miles of the apartments, at Maypole and Girvan.
Only 2 miles away through the village of Maidens, is Culzean Castle, one of Scotland's oldest and most famous houses and ancestral home of the Marquess of Ailsa. The interiors have been beautifully restored and the estate also offers scenic walks through its Red Deer Park with attractions such as The Walled Garden, The Swan Pond and The Pagoda to enjoy.
Drive along the Carrick coast and you will encounter the Electric Brae, a gravity hill where cars appear to be drawn uphill by some mysterious attraction, and the dramatic ruins of Dunure Castle. Further along you will quickly come into the village of Alloway, birth place of one of Scotland's favourite sons Robbie Burns. Here you can take in the Tam O'Shanter Experience, Brig O'Doon, The Burns Monument and The Burns Cottage. For those who have the energy left, Ayr town offers shopping, restaurants and nightlife to carry you through to the twilight hours.

Becky Woodward & Mike Cotton.
"A tremendous location that allowed us the luxury of exploring this beautiful part of Scotland. The apartment is kept to an extremely high standard and its modern features & facilities make it a refreshing, private and practical alternative to 5 star hotels located nearby"
Chris Horn Managing Director Gold Key Media Ltd
"We thoroughly enjoyed the Turnberry experience from the well appointed apartment with all mod cons and stylish decor to the rugged outdoor landscape and the rather fantastic Turnberry Hotel and all its amenities.
We dined in style both in the luxury apartment and at the Hotel and found the standard of the accommodation exceeded all our expectations, being well thought out and comfortable with all the rooms being spacious. We did not lack for in house entertainment with music, TV and DVD player provided.
A great place to go to just chill out, pamper yourself or get active on the golf course. We had a great time!"
"The views and surrounding countryside were stunning and being in the apartment was a real home from home experience"
