Unique and traditional, large sandstone townhouse. Perfect location. A short walk to many wonderful restaurants, the beach and Ayr town centre. Snooker room. Beautiful, large, mature and fully enclosed garden. Many excellent pay-and-play golf courses nearby.

Self-catering, spacious accommodation located in the historic town of Ayr, the birthplace of Robert Burns. Parking for 6+ cars. Quiet, peaceful, centrally located street. Large, enclosed garden - very safe for children. Also, children's playroom with many books and toys. Spacious and comfortable living room with plasma TV, and speaker dock for ipod.

The house itself was built in the late 1880s and sits in a one acre plot - unique considering it's central location in one of Ayr's best residential areas. The interior of the house offers an abundance of old-fashioned, period charm and character. The garden is mature and south-facing, and contains some special and rare species of trees and shrubs, as well as and abundance of mature fruit trees.

This clifftop mansion was built by Robert Adam for the last Earl of Cassillis in 1772-1790. The interior is strikingly elegant. There is a fine collection of pictures, 18th century furniture and an armoury, as well as an extensive country park.


Dean Castle Country Park is a fantastic free day out for all the family. The country park, covering over 200 acres, is nestled in the heart of Kilmarnock and offers something for kids and adults alike to enjoy.


Designed in the 1750s by the Adam Brothers for the 5th Earl of Dumfries, and saved for the nation in 2007 by HRH Prince Charles, Dumfries House has an unrivalled collection of furniture by Thomas Chippendale, Alexander Peter, Francis Brodie, and William Mathie. The Estate also has a working farm, run in partnership with Morrisons, and facilities to host weddings, banquets, meetings and conferences.

Dumfries House with its sumptuous interiors and magnificent furnishings is one of Britain's most beautiful stately homes and best kept heritage secrets.


The magnificent Edinburgh Castle dominates the city of Edinburgh like no other castle in Scotland. Perched on an extinct volcano, this instantly recognisable fortress is a powerful national symbol.


The museum offers a truly unique encounter with Scotland's favourite son.


Alongside their illustrious neighbours Royal Troon, Turnberry and Prestwick, Golf South Ayrshire operates eight superb courses of the highest standard, these are available to pay and play at a modest rate.


Walking and cycling along the paths, over the hillsides, and through the villages of Ayrshire is the only way to experience the real Ayrshire. A network of paths provides access to a range of environments from beaches to wooded glens, hilltops to riverside strolls. Located in the town of Ayr itself, this is an excellent racing surface at all times of the year.


Largest of the Clyde Coast holiday towns, Ayr lies 32 miles South-West of Glasgow. It looks out on the glorious panorama of the Firth, with the majestic peaks of Arran in the foreground and the Mull of Kintyre in the background.

The beautiful Ayrshire countryside provided the inspiration for some of the finest verses of the National Bard of Scotland, Robert Burns.

There is much to do in Ayr itself, and the surrounding countryside. Enjoy top quality links golf course at very reasonable prices. Take a stroll along Ayr beach and enjoy the beautiful sunsets with views over to the isle of Arran.

The town of Ayr (and nearby Prestwick) boasts many excellent restaurants (contact us for personal recommendations).

The splendid Culzean Castle is definitely worth a visit. Likewise the award-winning Burns Birthplace Museum.

Ayr Racecourse is a well-known racecourse in Scotland and hosts both National Hunt and flat racing. It has the largest capacity in Scotland for horse racing. Notable events include the Scottish Grand National (April) and Ayr Gold Cup (September) as well as several night meetings.

There is also plenty to do with children, such as a visit to the Heads of Ayr farmpark, which as over 50 different kinds of animals which the children can feed and touch. Or a visit to Pirate Pete's indoor play centre, or the Citadel leisure centre and swimming pool.
