"Country Hospitality at its best"

Amazing, warm welcome by friendly hosts. Chickens and sheep for the kids, paddock walks. Fantastic facilities including full kitchen equipment and a country fire! Easy day trip to Arran. Enjoyed the outdoor walking, walled garden and adventure playground at nearby Dumfries House, its an outstanding example of a local community project producing a fun, beautiful outdoor space for all. We can't recommend this rental property enough. Won't stay anywhere else in Ayrshire!

"Relaxing space and kindness"

A big bungalow with lots of rooms and nooks and crannies - enough to keep all happy, whatever they are doing. There is also a large garden and lawn, which extends the useful space a lot (weather permitting) and its lovely to be on a farm. The views are grand and you get to know the look of Arran and Ailsa Craig.

"Outstanding experience with countryside, hosts and cottage"

Amazing rural views met us as we drove up the driveway to the farmhouse and cottage. The sheep noises and lush paddocks and views helped us instantly relax, a feeling which continued for all our stay. Amazingly friendly hosts met our every need, but gave us space as well. They were helpful, friendly, and respectful. We enjoyed hearing about the farm, its history and the families who had lived there before, and our son enjoyed feeding the chickens! There was constant hospitality, extra eggs always on offer, a friendly wave whenever we saw each other, or the question did we need anything. We enjoyed their company and felt very looked after. Good value for money, great experience. We are enthusiastic to stay again, given our great experience.
