Nissi Beach is the most popular beach in the Ayia Napa area and probably the most well known on the island of Cyprus. It is made up of 2 connecting beaches, one long and lively, the other smaller and quieter. The beaches have golden sands and the waters are clean and clear, and have been awarded the Blue Flag Status. It is possible to walk out for up to a hundred meters without the water passing your waist and there are many sand bars in the shallows. A variety of watersports can be enjoyed including pedalloes, parasailing and inflatables.
Nissi Beach can be reached via the coastal path which runs from the harbor, or by road along Nissi avenue. The Eastern end of the beach is fairly quiet and relaxing. In contrast the central area is home to the Nissi Bay Beach Bar which draws crowds with it's daily programme of amusements including top named DJ's, foam parties, beach parties and other events.
Nissi Avenue offers around 2 km of shops, bars and restaurants or why not take a look at the busy fishing harbor. This is also where the many coastal daily boat trips depart from 7 days a week. A few minutes walk and in the opposite direction is the monastery, the church and the main square, this is where most of the nightlife is situated.

The Famagusta region
Ayia Napa is a popular resort for both families and couples alike, lots to do away from the bustling main bar street. Fabulous sandy beaches with deep blue sea, the most popular beach is Nissi Beach, but just further down is the idyllic Landa beach and Makronnisos, truly stunning and quieter, more suitable for families.
Wonderful weather all year round, hottest months are June through to September, warmer weather in May and October but still high temperatures, bring lots of sun cream!
Ayia Napa boasts a wealth of beach activities, from banana boats to paragliding! Lots to do and see all year round.
Nissi Avenue takes you to a variety of restaurants, all very child friendly with several that have small adventure areas. It's difficult to recommend one or two in particular as all serve delicious tasty fresh food. We will try to leave business cards from some of our favourites in the future; please feel free to do the same for future guests.
The local restaurants offer excellent Cypriot food, try the Kleftico which is lamb slowly cooked in foil in special clay ovens, or a Meza which includes several different Cyprus dishes, a Meza can take a couple of hours to get through as there are so many dishes, make sure you wear something lose fitting!
You can use the majority of hotel facilities in Cyprus (pool, entertainment, bars etc) providing you purchase food and drinks. Please check at the hotels reception before entering.
At the center of town you will find the Monastery, for over 400 years the heart of the town, it is well worth a visit. The pretty Ayia Napa harbour is also a must visit with several fish restaurants and bars. In addition to the fishing boats a variety of boat trips are available, fun for all the family.
Water World - This fantastic water park is fun for all ages, open 10am – 6pm and is a short bus ride away.
Go Karting - Next door to Water World for anyone who wants to test their reflexes!
