The apartment is spacious and has been fitted to the very highest standards. Located on the middle floor it boasts an extraordinarily large veranda, stretching the width of the apartment, where you can enjoy eating outside or just relaxing in the Cyprus sunshine. **Wi-Fi available**
Indoors it has 2 DOUBLE BEDROOMS one of which has patio doors opening onto the veranda, and a BATHROOM with shower/bath. The second bedroom has its own EN-SUITE shower room with toilet and hand-basin. Both bedrooms have extensive fitted wardrobes with plenty of coat hangers, 2 single beds (which can be put side-by-side to form a double) and air-conditioning.
The large air-conditioned OPEN - PLAN LOUNGE has patio doors opening onto the veranda at one end and a FULLY EQUIPPED FITTED KITCHEN with dining area at the other. One of the soft Italian leather sofas converts to a double bed and there is satellite TV with a 37 inch flat screen and a DVD player for your enjoyment.
WI-FI IS AVAILABLE for a small extra cost of just £10 per week if you would like to use your own laptop, iPad, Smart phone etc and if you also want to bring your iPod we have an iPod/MP3 docking station for you to use.
Comfortable sofa-style outdoor seating is provided for breakfasting in the morning sunshine or enjoying a quiet drink in the evening, and sun-beds are available for sun-worshippers.
This is not a typical rental apartment with a few mismatched cups, a kettle, a toaster and one ring to cook on. Sound familiar? We have tried to provide all the items you are used to having at home and more.
Other apartments claim to be 'luxury' but we believe ours really is!

Bookings are dealt with directly by us, the owners, not an agent, so you can ask us as many questions as you like about the apartment or your holiday. Whilst you are staying at our apartment you will be looked after by our agent who can be contacted 24 hours a day.
ATTENDING A WEDDING?
If you are attending a wedding in Cyprus our apartment at Nissi Golden Sands is ideally placed very close to all the major wedding hotels in the Nissi Beach location.
Nissi Beach Hotel and Adams Beach Hotel are just five minutes walk from the apartment, whilst the Aenaes Hotel is even closer. The Olympic Lagoon and the Dome Hotel are just a very short taxi ride away.
If you take a look at our video we have included two clips at the end from Google Earth showing the proximity of Nissi Beach Hotel and Adams Beach Hotel. The straight line distance to Nissi Beach Hotel is less than 450m and less than 360m to Adams Beach Hotel so you can see they are both very close to the apartment.
The Olympic Lagoon Resort and the Dome Hotel are just a few minutes away by car, as is Ayia Napa Town Hall and taxis are readily available outside of the Aenaes Hotel which is just across the road from Nissi Golden Sands.
A lot of our guests that have stayed with us have been attending weddings nearby and they tell us that it is much nicer preparing to go to the wedding from the comfort of your own apartment rather than from a hotel room. Our two bathrooms, both with showers, allow even parties of more than two to get ready easily.
A steam iron and full-size ironing board are available so that you don't have to worry if your wedding outfit gets creased whilst travelling and we have dress-length hanging space in the wardrobe. Full length mirrors in both of the bedrooms let you see how good you look and there is even a clothes brush and shoe shine kit just in case.

The comfortable sofa bed converts to a double bed and the single beds can be easily moved to form double beds. No need to bring any hangers, we have plenty!
The bathroom contains a bath/shower, a hand-basin and a WC. The en-suite room has a shower, hand basin and WC.
The air conditioning units also provide heating.
The kitchen is fully equipped but also includes many extras - sandwich toaster & grill, electric juicer, ironing board, etc.
The motorised satellite TV dish locates 3 different satellites. We also have an iPod docking station for iPod or MP3 players. Just bring your own iPod.
We have left our PlayStation 2 in the apartment with a few games and you are welcome to use these and even bring your own games. Please note however this is not part of the facilities of the apartment and is just a personal item.

Outside we have armchair style patio furniture so that you can sit comfortably whilst enjoying the sunshine.
We also have 4 sun loungers, and provide large, good quality beach towels to use on the veranda, around the pool, or on the beach.
There is an allocated parking space , undercover, which is invaluable for keeping your car cool in the hot sun.

The rental rates shown are for up to and including 4 persons. Extra persons (to a maximum occupancy of 6 in total) will incur an extra charge of £5 per week or part week per person to cover addititonal laundry costs.

The apartment can be cleaned and the linen changed mid-stay.
Equipment hire for guests travelling with young children can be arranged.
All of the above services will incur an extra charge however, mid-stay linen changes are included free of charge for stays of more than 10 days and for parties of up to 4 persons. Extra persons (to a maximum occupancy of 6 in total) will incur an extra charge of £5 per person per week to cover additional laundry costs.

Conditions
A refundable damages/breakage's deposit of £200 per booking is required.
The booking can be secured with a deposit of just 25% with the balance of the rental, plus the security deposit, due 8 weeks before the letting.
Please note that the owner accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage of personal property, or injury or death to any person or visitor, during the period of occupancy. Guests are reminded to take out adequate travel and personal belongings insurance.

The Famagusta region
Famagusta is a district of eastern Cyprus where the tourist centres of Ayia Napa, Protoras, Pernera, and more, are located. Not surprising really, as this is where you also find the best beaches in Cyprus.
In the winter the area is popular with people enjoying coastal walks or delighting in the winter sunshine.
The summers are long and the winters mild, and as well as the beaches there is plenty of history and Greek mythology to investigate and explore.
The Ayia Napa / Nissi Beach area
Nissi Beach is just 3km west of Ayia Napa. The world famous beach has been awarded a blue flag, as have many of the beaches in the Ayia Napa area. The beach has fine white sand and crystal clear waters and amenities include water sports, restaurants, sun-beds and public facilities. It is truly a stunning beach and less than 5 minutes walk from the apartment.
The apartment is less than 5 minutes walk to the Nissi Beach Hotel and Adams Hotel, both of which are very popular for weddings. This makes staying at the apartment ideal for families of the bride and groom.
Close by there are also a number of shops for your convenience including a supermarket and a bakery and also a selection of small bars and restaurants.
The harbour at Ayia Napa is also within walking distance and has its own beautiful beach with all facilities. Boat trips can be taken from here and some of the best fish restaurants are nestled on the harbour overlooking the small, colourful, local fishing fleets.
Nearby is the famous Ayia Napa Water Park. The park has a Greek theme with columns and statues, and is packed with slides and water attractions for all ages. It is well worth spending a whole day here and you can enjoy the sun whilst the kids enjoy the attractions.
If walking or cycling are your passion, take a trip to Cape Greko, which is just outside of Ayia Napa on the way to Protoras. This is a National Park area where you can enjoy a picnic in unspoilt surroundings bordering the coastline.
Cycles are readily available for hire at Ayia Napa or Nissi Beach.
Hire a car and explore Cape Greko, drive along the coast stopping at the numerous unspoilt beaches on the way. Take a ride to Potomas with its quaint fishing harbour or stop for lunch in the square at Paralimni and visit its impressive church. Driving is easy with good roads, and clear direction signs.

The apartment was absolutely faultless. Location wise you are a five minute walk away from the golden sands and crystal clear sea of Nissi Beach. There are lots of small bars and restaurants nearby, and Ayia Napa is only a short taxi ride away if you feel like a more lively night. The apartment itself is in a quiet area. Everything you needed and more was provided. The facilities were top notch, with a fantastic large balcony to relax and eat on. The owner could not have been more helpful before and after the holiday. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to friends and family. |
