The Famagusta District
Ayia Thekla is an up and coming new area with many new developments being built. In an ideal location, for those who want quietness at night, and yet close enough to get to Ayia napa. A car is strongly advisable in ayia thekla.
Locally there are 2 supermarket kiosks, and tavernas. The enormous water park is a must for all ages, and is located on the ayia thekla – ayia napa road. Next door to this is go carts. Visit the picturesque Potamos beach and harbour, and try a meal from one of the fish
Ayia napa is famous for nissi beach and numerous entertainment bars, karaeoke, shops, and beaches. Try a boat trip from the harbour, daily during summer.
Ayia Napa / Ayia Thekla area
Cape greko is approx 20 min drive away on way to ayia napa, with unspoilt outstanding beauty. The sea is so turquoise which makes for lovely photos. If you are feeling energetic, you can walk to the top and sit on a bench and admire the views.
A visit to Konnos bay is a must, located at the side of cape greko- follow signs to mikes water sports down a windy road. The sandy beach and turquoise sea are breath taking. Enjoy the views from the café, or relax on a sunlounger. There are water sports here. Or take a walk around the rocks.
Try a boat trip to view famagusta ghost town from the sea, we highly recommend Captain Marco’s boat, where you have 2-3 swimming stops and lunch on board, although there are many other boat trips down at the harbour. Ayia thekla [ next to ayia napa on sotira road] has an enormous water park, ideal for all the family open daily from 10am during summer.

Fly to larnaca airport, approx 40 min journey to villa. car hire and airport transfers can be arranged.

We thought that the service you provided was excellent. The villa was lovely and well equipped. The villa was great well taken care of. You were very nice and witty during reserving and during our stay. The villa location was nice but away from all the action especially the beach. The villa was exactly as we had expected it, owing to the accurate photos on web site.For myself & husband ideal, younger people may struggle with the location as very quiet. Very close to water park, & plenty of beaches, but would recommend a car as Taxis can be expensive when using them every day. Property better than we expected, first time we have stayed in a villa & it wont be our last. likes. The immediate surroundings consists of a eating /drinking place at the bottom of road, Lukas the owner will look after you. the road is not finished properly from the end of the street so can be bumpy. (take the torch from villa if going down at night as dark !) Little supermarket 5 minute walk away, where you can get anything you need, Or a Carrefour Supermarket for big shop & better value about 15 mins up motorway, .Lovely little local beach with snack bar that do great homemade chips. Visit the church at end of beach.Water Park very close Further a field Car essential if you are traveling out & about. Some great beaches to explore, try finding Konnos Bay it is a paradise.Taxi ride away for the nightlife Ayia Napa if you prefer noisy, on average £7 for a single way, most taxis hold 6-7 people. The villa was better in the flesh than from the pictures. top quality! Didnt lack anything - was perfect! Aiya napa was a bit too far to walk but cabs were cheap and we also hired out vehicles so was quite easier to commute. just like to say a huge thank you for everything you did for us.The villa surpassed our expectations and was perfect. We will definitely be booking again.
