This is a well designed and spacious apartment situated in a well maintained development with an impressive communal pool being the focal point. Nicely landscaped gardens will provide ample space for relaxation while soaking up the sun and the when the sun goes down , head for the balcony where you can just chill and enjoy the panoramic views of the Med. Large open plan kitchen and dining areas, expansive living rooms with large patio doors leading on to the impressive balconies perfect for those hot summer nights. Tastefully furnished and air-conditioned throughout, this property is one of our favourites and it does not come as a surprise that it attracts a lot of interest .

Once considered as a small fishing village, Ayia Napa has over the last couple of years developed into a cosmopolitan resort with an array of colourful bars , restaurants and shops. With an abundance of secluded sandy bays Ayia Napa has recently been named the " sunny and sandy land ". Step away from the main nightlife area and take a closer look you will discover that Ayia Napa is full of history and tradition, making it impossible for even the fussiest visitor not to find something that will interest them. A great deal of money has been invested over the past few years in a major programme to revitalise the area. The results are amazing! The entire harbour has been pedestrianised with cafes and fish-tavernas lining the front. A wooden walkway travels the length of the harbour and continues past it. - A refundable breakages deposit of £100 is required with the balance, to be refunded within two weeks of your

departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).

- Earliest arrival time is 4pm and latest departure time is 1pm unless otherwise agreed on booking .

The Famagusta region

Cyprus is the third largest island in the Mediterranean and it lies at the crossroads of Europe, Asia and Africa. Yet it has over the years maintained a cultural identity that gives this island a varied character.

Famagusta District lies on the south east coast of the island and it is considered by a lot as one of the nicest parts of the island due to what it has to offer whether it is the white sandy bays of Ayia Napa and Protaras or the tratidional villages still offering that unique character that has over the years attracted a lot of people to make this area their permanent home or their holiday dream. The district itself not only includes Ayia Napa and Protaras , two of the most known holiday resorts on the island but also is home to a lot of other small villages known as the "red soil villages " due to the rich copperish colour of the very fertile soil.

Paralimni has now become the administrative town of the area and bears little resemblance to the sleepy rural backwater of the early 1970s. Paralimni's change began in 1974 when the town of Famagusta's Greek-Cypriot population fled south during the invasion of the Turks. Paralimni expanded overnight and has over the years expanded into a town where the old rub shoulders with the new and it should not suprise you that whilst a lot of modern shops , cafes etc are beeing build the old and traditional still stand strong and still attract a lot of people. The centre of Paralimni with its superb Church, is popular and the town has retained a friendly charm that is definitely worth visiting .. In the not-too-distant past the surrounding area was irrigated by an intricate system of windmill-driven waterways, still visible today and in fact some people still use the windmill driven pumps to water their fields.

Paralimni is a place where the old and the new seem to work in harmony , a place where modern shops and offices rub shoulders with traditional coffee shops and old stores. It’s a town where you can enjoy the advantages of a traditional village and the conveniences of a contemporary town. Paralimni represents a refreshing alternative for anyone who is tired of the relentless beats that accompany every aspect of life in nearby Ayia Napa and Protaras.

Further to Paralimni it is worth visiting Liopetri to see the art of basket weaving and if you are a fresh fish lover venture a 5 minute drive to " Potamos " the river of Liopetri and enjoy the fresh catch of the day. Worth visiting is Dherynia where you can stop at one of the various Famagusta view points and catch of glimse of the " Ghost Town " as it is known now, where you can still notice the scars of the 1974 Turkish invasion.

Ayia Napa

Cyprus is renowned for it's great weather (340 days of sunshine every year and even the winter is very mild and dry), picturesque safe beaches, cosmopolitan food, friendly welcoming people. Not missing out on the trend Ayia Napa has over the years developed into a cosmopolitan resort known for the abundance of exciting and vibrant bars/clubs and exclusive restaurants aiming at satisfying every taste and every budget. An array of secluded bays are stretching along the coastline like a fine necklace and surely there is one there waiting for you, where you can just chill and soak up the sunshine on this sun basked island.

Sights worth visiting is the medieval monastery of Ayia Napa, the Ayios Elias church in Protaras which is majestically sitting atop of the hill overlooking the whole of the area, ( ideal in the evening to watch the sunset ) , Thalassa Marine Museum and also worth visiting is Cape Greko plus a lot more. And when you have explored the area and you just want a relaxing evening , take a stroll along the seafront ending up in the " Limanaki " where u can just sit and enjoy a cold refreshing drink or sample the mouthwatering fish meze

"Excellent Stay"

Myself and my extended family stayed at this property in late July for a week and it was excellent. The property was very clean and offered great facilities. Would definitely use them again.
