Aside from the many beautiful beaches and the 300 annual days of sunshine, there are ample opportunities and facilities for leisure activities such as fine dining, golf, kite surfing, boating and other watersports. Especially noted for the beauty of its protected nature reserves, it has no high rise buildings associated with other Costas.
There are numerous quality golf courses in the area. The house is a 5 minute drive from the Portuguese border allowing easy access to Tavira or Monte Gordo. The historic town of Seville is just over an hours drive away.
Ayamonte / Costa Esuri Casa and Golf area
Costa Esuri is a superb new holiday development with two 18 hole golf courses one of which includes a clubhouse with restaurant, bar, wi-fi and a welcome for all - just a stones throw from your front door. Even closer is a shop/cafe for your everyday needs including fresh bread.
Just a 5 minute drive away is the unspoilt town of Ayamonte with many shops, bars, restaurants and banks in the pedestrianised zone. There is also a daily indoor market and a local Saturday market. Sit in a traditional tiled plaza or take the inexpensive ferry over to Vila Real or enjoy a river trip to El Rompido and visit the Water park.
A modern bridge over the Guadiana River now links the motorways of Spain and Portugal enabling you to soak up the beauty and culture of both countries.
The nearest beach at Isla Canela boasts miles of unspoilt sand with many watersports available.
