The Costa de la Luz / Huelva Province region
Costa Esuri is situated just 5 minutes drive from the border with the Portuguese Algarve and offers all the advantages of both countries - international golf course,extensive sandy beaches with water sports, and bird watching are just a few of the activities. The apartment overlooks the Aymerich golf course and has super views across open wildlife land to the Guadiana Bridge which spans the Guadiana River, forming the border with Portugal.
The attractive fishing port of Ayamonte (population approx 19,000) with its harbour, shops, tapas bars and restaurants is just 3 km away. Its theatre hosts many music festivals whilst its typical indoor market sells a wide range of fish, fruit and vegetables and local cheeses.
It has preserved its old medieval quarter in the central district of the town with its narrow streets and historic buildings; the central area is a car-free zone.
Isla Canela beaches, 5km away, are 5.5 km long and 60 metres wide with many typical churinguitos (beach bars). For those who like to collect clams and shells, the beaches and sand dunes are full of them.
Ayamonte / Costa Esuri area
The picturesque town of Ayamonte with its harbour, restaurants, shops and ferry to Portugal is 3 km away. The golf resort of Costa Esuri is located on the outskirts of Ayamonte and is adjacent to the Spanish/Portuguese border.
Great for visiting the Donana National Wildlife Park.
There are 5 communal pools scattered around the grounds.
How to get there
Fly to FARO (Portugal) with Easyjet. Ayamonte/Esuri is approx. 45 minutes driving from the airport.
Car hire is available from the usual "big names" at Faro. A good suggestion is Travel Rent www.carhire@travelrent.pt.
