This very spacious light, airy 1st floor apartment consists of 2 large double bedrooms, the master with en -suite bathroom/shower, with French doors leading onto the large terrace The second bedroom has French doors leading onto the smaller terrace (which also has access from the kitchen) large family bathroom/ shower.

Fully fitted kitchen (approx 17ft long) with French doors leading to the front terrace and utility room. This terrace has the sun from early morning until lunch and has seating for 4 people. The large lounge (approx 30ft)has a dining area seating 6 people and French doors that open onto the main terrace (approximately 28ft wide, which the master bedroom also opens up onto). This has been tastefully furnished in a contemporary manner making it comfortable,practical and welcoming. Satellite TV, DVD,CD are included. The main terrace has dining facilities for 6 people and also two sun loungers. This terrace faces south west and gets the sun from lunchtime until sundown, ideal for alfresco dining.

We feel the property is ideal for total relaxation and chilling out, but just a short car ride/walk can get you to the magnificent Isla Canea beach, (about 5 mins journey) the Marina with 4 & 5 star hotels and into Ayamonte Town for the bustle of a true Spanish Town, in fact the area caters for all your needs for this type of holiday. Restaurants offer both international and national dishes to choose from at a variety of prices. As an unspoilt Spanish town the food and drink is cheaper than many other parts of Spain. Ayamonte / Isla Canela area

The beautiful Spanish town of Ayamonte has approximately 20,000 inhabitants.

This border town is vibrant but still retains is Spanish heritage with all the amenities you could wish for. There is fishing, river as well as deep sea, horse hiding, cycling, windsurfing, water kiting, volleyball walking in the hils as well as coast. and sailing and boat trips from the marina.

As Ayamonte is part of Andalusia there are many festivals throught the year not only in the local facility but in Seville, which is only 1 1/4hours away. See tourist information for further details. Portuguese world renowned beaches are ony 20 mins away.

Sporting facilities are free of charge and just off site. In addition the Marina is nearby with an array of water sports & restaurants. The beautiful town of Ayamonte has many restaurants, bars, tapas available as well as plenty of local shops. You can also catch the ferry from here for the 1km crossing over the river to Portugal. Seville is 1 1/4 hours way for the serious business of shoe and handbag shopping.

Only 45 mins from Faro airport and 1 1/2 hours from Seville.

The apartments are surrounded by the Isla Canela Golf course, for complete relaxation, which itself is situated on a bird sanctuary. Within 3kms you have the opportunity to play on FIVE additional Golf Courses. The immaculately kept gardens house a large adult swimming pool. as well as a smaller kids pool /swings.

Just a short walk away are gym facilities in a 5 star hotel as well as all the sport amenities already mentioned. Just a few minutes car drive to the magnificent 7klm beach which even in the height of the season is 'never' crowded. The is also opportunities for fishing both river and sea, cycling, walking in the hills as well as Beach and sightseeing. Spa Facilities and in the winter indoor pool. Seville is just 1 1/4 hours away and there is a nature reserve approx 40mins away.

The province of Huelva has over 400klm of coast. We are on the Spanish/Portugal border which is a 3lkm drive or a short ferry ride away. Ayamonte is a safe family orientated friendly town, which prides itself on its cleanliness, parks and gardens. It is a renown venue for classical music in the Autumn and their residents enjoy a good standard of living.

Swimming pool has a lifeguard from Easter until October (due to its size) Non smokers please. No pets. No cot or highchair facilities available. New for 2009 - 4 beach towels will be provided - saves on packing

The Isla Canela beach is a magnificent best kept secret, over 7klms long and even in the height of the season barely looks busy. A true gem.

I have come back for a second year, as it is a place I know I can relax as soon as I come through the door, Isla Canela is a gem and the apartment is great.
