This apartment has everything you could want for a relaxing and tranquil beach holiday. Positioned on the first floor this two bedroom apartment is situated right on the beach. The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, built-in oven and hob and a microwave and the utility room houses the washing machine/dryer. There is a four piece bathroom suite with bath and overhead shower, two bedrooms with fully fitted wardrobes and a tastefully decorated lounge/dining area which houses the TV, DVD player and hi-fi.
A furnished terrace provides breathtaking Atlantic and beach views. Outside there are two communal swimming pools, paddle tennis courts and a children's play area all set within beautiful landscaped gardens. Secure underground parking is also available.

The Costa de la Luz / Huelva Province region
The Costa de la Luz enjoys more hours of sunshine and less rain per year than even the Costa del Sol! The name Costa de la Luz, Coast of Light, comes from the long hours of sunlight and the beautiful sunsets over the west and south facing coastline. Isla Canela is located in the tourist area par excellence of Spain: Andalusia. Isla Canela is a natural island with a bridge to Ayamonte, a village in the province of Huelva with the purest of Andalusian charm. It is located on the mouth of the River Guadiana, on the border between Andalusia and the Portuguese Algarve and offers the charm and benefits of both areas.
Sun and wind are the most important climatic factors of this area of Spain. Thanks to the Mediterranean climate, which is marked by the proximity to the north of Africa, in winter temperatures seldom fall below 10° C (50°F), easily reaching 20°C (68°F) at noon. Thanks to the Atlantic breeze, maximum temperatures in summer seldom rise above moderate 30°C (86 °F), while in the interior of Andalusia or at Costa del Sol, 40° C (104 °F) can easily be reached.
Ayamonte / Isla Canela area
Isla Canela is a beautiful natural ‘island’ on the very Spanish Costa de la Luz (coast of light), with spectacular beaches, marina, golf course, promenade, leisure facilities, bars and restaurants, all in a beautiful setting with part of the island designated a conservation area. Shops, bars and restaurants, including the superb fish restaurants at Punta de Moral, are all within a 3-min drive or 15 minute walking distance.
The resort boasts three 4-star hotels with a 5-star currently under construction, due for completion 2008. The island is connected by road-bridge to the wonderful Andalucian town of Ayamonte situated just inside the Spanish border from Portugal. The fishing port and resort of Ayamonte is a delightful place to take a leisurely stroll as many of its local streets are pedestrianised. These link small, pretty plazas which are tucked away but full of busy pavement cafés and bars serving delicious Spanish tapas. Visit the elegant Plaza de la Laguna, for a good choice of eating places with outdoor seating. Next to the main square, the Paseo de la Ribera, is the harbour and further along is the ferry dock. In the old town is the fifteenth-century Iglesia de San Salvador, worth a visit for its memorable tower with superb views across to Portugal. There are similar good views from the tower of the sixteenth-century San Francisco church nearby. You can also catch the ferry from Ayamonte to Villa Real de San Antonio in Portugal.
How to get there
The apartment is 40-mins drive from Faro airport or 90mins from Seville We recommend hiring a car for your stay. Alternatively, we can arrange airport transfers. Local taxi's also operate. Hiring a car also allows you greater freedom in exploring the surrounding areas during your stay at Isla Canela. The lounge has a very comfortable sofa bed. The clean and modern fitted bathroom has a bath/shower over, WC, basin and bidet. There is a fully fitted kitchen with oven/hob/grill, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster etc. The kitchen is fully equipped in terms of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans and all cooking utensils. Just off the kitchen is a utility room with fully automatic waching machine/dryer, clothes airer, iron and ironing board etc. The Lounge/dining room is stylishly decorated and furnished with a large corner sofa (sofa bed) sideboard, coffee table, dining table and chairs, TV, DVD and Hi-fi.

Please note there is strictly no smoking in the apartment. Smoking is permitted on the terrace. As the apartment faces north west it remains cool even at the height of summer. It also has the added bonus of ceiling fans in both bedrooms.
